LET IT RIP
Family HQ was a multipurpose space for workshops, coloring pages, and a lot of Beyblades
When we couldn’t get into Padawan Training, Boom and I went over to the Family HQ—right before Reed Pop tried to clear the room for Katie Cook’s workshop. Staff said to direct feedback to organizers for 2018.

Boom had about 20 minutes to hunt through Beyblades bins and play with some before I decided we should be better audience members or leave.

Boom plays with beys

The days Kal and Betty were there, we couldn’t fi gure out what the Beyblade Burst banner was promoting. On Kids Day, Boom went to the Family HQ after he couldn’t get into Padawan Training and there were dozens of empty Hasbro boxes. The staff just kept opening them and dumping them into bigger boxes for kids to pick from. No one there seemed to care how many Boom wanted to play with as long as no one took the stadiums and everyone made room for the next panel. —MV

Kal and I had purchased Cook’s Obi-1 2 3 on Saturday at her Artist Alley table where she was busy painting. When it was his turn, Kal requested a bantha.
