(h Issue I was hoping ice: 100 would be the end off ce aare of a “where they now” series, but it sp Vega a s a c hasn’t been a good year for meeting up. Picture it—like a conventions issue but for the original Dubbs crew. Career changes, parenthood, artistic ventures... Some of the original contributors and readers took a survey to see what they remember and how they’re doing now. Those answers appear throughout the section. A few wrote and sent us pictures. Look for what they shared farther into the issue! Mostly we’re celebrating how we got to be 100. —MV I like rearranging furniture. Take what you have and make the most of it, right? Here are the stages of metamorphosis at the Dinosaur Girly Studio s.
March 2007 Third bedroom houses my old PC and LV’s old Smurf on one skinny desk.
Jan 2008 A new large desk is added to hold three—yes, three—printers (and a cat). A G4 is added to the mix. April 2008 Now that two of us will be using the office, both the G4 and G3 are operatio nal. Plus a laptop. And two cats. June 2008 I decide two chairs in one corner is too ridiculous. I force LV to rearrange the room with me. June 2008 Still not happy, I Hulk out and move the vanity and dresser. Then I set up a card table to expand LV’s space.
