Food and Wine
Authenticity and honesty is at the heart of all we create, from the food we grow through to the cooking process and dining experience. At Borgo’s elegant Valle Serena Restaurant, both classic and contemporary dishes are made by a passionate team of skilled and inspiring chefs. Menus are created according to the season with fresh fish being sourced daily from the Mediterranean and organic free-range meats are supplied by local artisan farmers. Using the very best natural produce and seasonal ingredients, many of the vegetables, herbs, fruit, honeys and oils are harvested from Borgo’s own land. To accompany Borgo’s unique menu, our sommelier has hand selected a collection of exceptional boutique wines from award winning producers in Tuscany. The wellstocked cellars also include an impressive choice of vintage, biodynamic and organic wines from Italy and beyond.

Relaxed Dining
Borgo offers a tranquil environment in which to enjoy the true spirit of Tuscany with many inviting spaces for eating, drinking and relaxing. The Treehouse Bar provides a chic ‘open air’ atmosphere perfectly placed to enjoy the panoramic views across the valley. Situated alongside the natural infinity pool, the Treehouse Bar has a vibrant atmosphere where seasonal lunches are created using traditional wood-burning grills and pizza ovens. In the summer months, the bar is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo or cocktail, whilst in the autumn, the comfortable sofas and chaise lounges provide a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a book by the open fire.

Farm and Communit y An essential element of the Borgo lifestyle is our farm that produces vegetables, fruit, herbs and honey for our kitchens. Simple honest seasonal ingredients are grown organically then nurtured and harvested with love, honoring the 800 year old tradition of producing food for this ancient Tuscan hamlet. Our core values are reflected in everything we do at Borgo Santo Pietro. We respect the location, traditions, the natural environment and our community, who remain at the heart of the lifestyle we represent. We also support many local producers, artisans, farmers and, of course, our neighbours.
