Hailing from Cyprus, much of her work explores aspects of Greek history and mythology. She is particularly interested in the relationships between the ancient and the contemporary – how the ancient cultures of the region have evolved and what insights we can gain from their study. Although she considers herself an artist who works across a range of media and processes she has recently been focusing on lens based media‐and in particular photography and video. Her recent works include a series of photographs and films that each focus upon a figure from Greek Mythology such as Charon, Hypnos and Nymph. In these works she has attempted to distil the essence of these characters through contemporary media and settings to create ambiguous images and videos that straddle the ancient and the modern worlds

Efstratia Kafaloukou is an up-and-coming, amateur photographer, based in Athens. From a young age, she was interested in the field of photography and aesthetics. Her inspiration is constant and chaotic, many times to the point that the boundaries of a concept are lost and the image itself acquires a new unique character. Art, fashion and everyday life are interrelated fields that express her aesthetics. Creating from scratch. Discovering spaces, colors and geometries to compose the perfect click. “ Although her work so far has been based on digital photography, she aims to introduce herself in the art of analog photography.


APOLLINARIIA ILINA IG: @apolli_li_

Apollinariia Ilina is a photographer, cinematographer and artist based in Moscow. She was educated at the Cinematography and has a master's degree Art History. Artist's works were presented in Arles, Paris and Moscow. Apollinariia reveals in her works the psychology of human perception and selfidentification. First of all, this is the psychology of perception of the human body. Works from the project «Myth of a Woman» is based on problems perception of female body in modern world. Artist turns to archetypes based on European mythology where the female body has long been an element of culture. Mythological plots are full of contradictory variations and different interpretations of female images. Apollinariia bases her search on the viewer's deep cultural and artistic memory and repeating Roland Barthes - «everything can become a myth», she creates a modern myth about a woman’s body, with reworked images of the past.


DEANA KOTIGA IG: @deanaemmakotiga

Deana Emma Kotiga is a multi-disciplinary artist & anthropologist based in London and Croatia. Working on the intersections of anthropology and storytelling, fluent in six languages, and having lived & worked in Croatia, the UK, the US and Brazil, Deana uses her photography to make the familiar strange and the strange familiar. Portraits of the Mediterranean are Deana’s attempt to dive deeper into the myth of her homeland. Croatia: a place of never-ending parties, crystal clear waters and bright blue skies. Little fisherman towns becoming playgrounds for rich tourists, only to be left quiet once September ends. But what happens to those who stay? These real faces of the Croatian coast remind us that, once the tourist frenzy is over, the Mediterranean will be left to its local people.


YASEMIN TAŞKIN IG: @yasmintas

Yasemin Taşkn was born in 1982 in a small hamlet on the Black Sea's southeast coast, where her aesthetic point of view is anchored in the region's wonderful scenery and culture. The tea fields and the people who labor in them, which are the first photos in her landscape, became her most inspiring settings for photography and video creation later on. She studied cinema at Marmara Fine Arts University in Istanbul. Her artistic mediums are documentary photography and videography of everyday life. For the past four years, she has worked as a freelance content creator for several brands. She enjoys working with natural light, creating sceneries and styles, and promoting them through her distinctive visual style.


ANASTASIOS PERROS IG: @anastastion_perros _

Anastasios Perros studied Philosophy, Fashion Design and Art History. He loves photography and painting. He got a special award in the “Art job artist of the month” October 21. For him, photography is what the eye sees, captured by the soul and expressed by the heart.


PETRINA CHRONOPOULOU IG:@petrinachr

Petrina Chronopoulou is an architect and a self-taught photographer based in Athens, Greece. By playing with perception, she tries to form new narratives based on the different sensations that her images evoke in each viewer. The aim is to reveal themselves, their deepest thoughts, their unconscious mind while trying to explain the emotions that the obscurity of her images engenders. She strives to understand the human mind. Her photographic work is her effort to confront the fear, the dark, and the chaos that lives inside of us. Only by understanding our complex inner world, we find the truth about our existence. Through ambiguity, we see our true selves.

When he was still a child, he realised his need to communicate and express feelings, images and words through the use of art. He was fascinated by the fact that he could"interpret" the world through making something beautiful and creative, so he always fell back on his imagination to create and decorate areas and carried his paper and pencils to do so. While growing up he was looking for more ways of expression. He worked with photography, took orthophony lessons, acted in amateur theater, wrote his one and only play and of course, he continued creating paintings and decorating walls. This is his passion and he still does it for people who have honored him by asking him to do so, relying on his own aesthetic as a reference.


PRECIOUS SERONGA IG:@seronga.art Precious Seronga is a Tanzanian artist, currently based in London doing her MA in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation at London college of Fashion. As an African living in the western world, she noticed the lack of positive representation of Africa on the mainstream media, mainly advertisements of Charity and poverty. She chose to use her creative skills to create art that conveys the underrated beauty of the continent and her home country. This image showcases her design and the amazing beadwork skills of Maasai women from Tanzania who created the piece.


MARIA COSMI IG:@cosmi_mara Cosmi is an artist currently based in Athens. Cosmi is looking, photographing, painting,illustrating and editing to depict new cosmos. Cosmos micro or macro while she is trying to approach an open meaning for landscape concept. Their interest is mainly focused around the concept of body so as how its irregular behaviors and porous relationship with other bodies and landscapes could be depicted. As a result her depictions often place the body in a hedonistic perspective, in a positive and open way.


YAPOTAPOVA IG:@yapotapova Creativity artit YAPOTAPOVA is based on feelings experienced by life moments that she transformed into Art. The concept and the process are the expression of a particular period of life and experience. Initially, artist see paintings in my imagination. Information comes as a flash and a visual image forms, as though inside artist. They ripen, each at its own pace, and when artist "see" the final version, she find myself in a state of yearning with insane level of energy, which directs me to the actions for execution of her idea with the help of paint and a blank canvas. Artist YAPOTAPOVA have been participating in international competitions and exhibitions since 2015.


NIKOLETTA KARASTATHI IG:@4d_nikol Nikoletta is an architect, PhD candidate and Lecturer at The Bartlett, UCL. Her work has been exhibited at the Dutch Design Week, Lakeside Arts Gallery, Baltic Centre of Contemporary Art, and London Design Festival. She works across disciplines and media, and her interests lie in architecture, textile, computation, biology and material programmability. In particular, her artwork examines the inter-actions between maker-materiality - tools - environment and storytelling.
