The flowers Todd paints are more than a flower It is an emblem almost, a bit of a nod to the past for those of a certain age, a subtle reminder or memory of a free spirited time in history, reworked and revamped to invoke a mood through what has become his signature lyrical style With the deft utilization of simple forms, Todd is able to create floral portraits, houses, scenics, full figure nudes, abstract statements and vases on tables. The repetitive rounded curves and flowing circles have a familiar sensuality His paintings are a celebration of life Todd is currently a resident of the famous Brewery Arts Colony in Los Angeles, CA Westovertodd com

Anita Alabau, born in Macedonia, is a French based multicultural artist Following her path in life, she continually distills and interfuses her impressions, encounters, and emotions into her artwork
Her method emphasizes harmony, color, texture and space and is based on instinct and intuition First there are a few colors, then shapes and more colors The details appear little by little With each new phase of the process, the composition becomes deeper and more luminous. The structure ultimately emerges, with the ultimate goal of provoking or evoking an emotional response from the viewer and a desire for interpretation
