CLIO PSARAKI @vanlife.art
Even the most humble piece of nature can be revealed to an impressive piece of artwork... My wandering amongst images of great diversity, the freedom of visiting places near or far away, walking in numerous fields of wildflowers and weeds, being in intimate contact with the Mother of all, it has been my constant inspiration and my guide through this wonderful journey of artistic quest and creation. Each of my images is an ode to the primary simpleness of every humble entity that waits in silence to be descried and admired. Even the minor and most insignificant beings of nature are to be transformed into unique pieces of art. I hope you will enjoy every moment of this magical trans- formation.
VILMA LEINO @vauhtivilma
Vilma Leino is a Finnish born, Berlin based photographer. She was born in 1999 and has been using photography as a medium since 2015. Her work focuses on self-portraiture. As a photographer, director, model and a stylist, she creates multiple characters to reflect inner feelings, solitude and womanhood. Her work experiments with strong color schemes, composition and human body. It is a one-woman show, where being in control and the fear of losing it are in constant dialogue. The story is balancing between beauty and horror, forming a story about personal growth, where fears are forming into strength.
METE CONCIN @angie_dlt
What passes for hip cynical transcendence of sentiment is really some kind of fear of being really human, since to be really human is to probably be unavoidably sentimental naive and generally pathetic. But still, give yourself a try.
EMY KAVVADIA @emy.kavvadia
Emy Kavvadia is an activist, photographer and video artist based at the moment in Athens. She studied Fine arts at the university of Ioannina (GR) and she graduated with a Master of Arts from the University of Fines Arts Berlin. Inspired by Dadaism, Fluxus and Surrealism she stands critical against social issues with her artworks. She gets involved in the social and artistic discourse and develops artworks on topics of women empowerment, colonization, gentrification, inclusion, equality, human body, public spaces, architecture and more... She took part in participa- tory art projects in Berlin, researching social boundaries, experimenting and creating collective artworks with children and adults and she would love to work further in this direction.
ANTONÍN MAREN @toncz_
This piece was created for an art contest held by the American ambassy in the Czech Republic. It expresses the division present in our world and how we, as the people are affected by it. This is one of my very first 3D projects that I've worked on solely in one specific style. My person- al goal is to create unique art by mixing different mediums with a specification in voxels.
MARIA PANAGIOTA GIANNAKAKI @giann_mari_ My name is Maria P. Giannakaki, signed as Giann_Mari. I’ve studied Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the University of West Attica, in Athens. In my work, I’ve combined my passion for capturing unpretentious moments of life with my passion of photography to create images that express my point of view usually with a poetic and commemorative mood. The emotions that I want to express through my work appear with the bold color of the image, the contrasts of the compositions and the different sceneries that constantly changing. I hope that watching my work, the viewer can follow me through the journeys that I capture and feel the same creative and nostalgic emotions that I have as I watch them.
LIVA VOIGT @livathelazy
Growing up in Germany and Mexico taught me that the western capitalist and consuming mentality is not the only way to approach life. Finding truth, acknowledging my privilege to travel, soaking in all possible influences and sensations and listening to the most diverse opinions I can is what I approach in my process of self growth. The line between understanding and anticipation is fluid. How can we be sure that what we mean will trigger what we want to express in the other person? I want to explore what gets lost between the sender and the recipient, where feelings start to be uncertain and projection starts. A lot is yet not understood, but my question is if you get what I am trying to say by just looking at my pictures. My Name is Liva Voigt and I work and study in Berlin.
GIULIA PAOLA LICCIARDI @giulia_paola_licciardi
Born in Italy and adopted by the eclectic city of London where I have lived for 3 years. I have recently approached photographic portrait and am always looking for new connections that can inspire my photography . Besides photography, I have created a series of surrealist drawings and paintings and published a catalog in collabo- ration with the Rome-based Pagine Publishing house https://www.arteartisti.com/vol-44?fbclid=IwAR3kzJmrRH1lQyN_iEM9NTn96KkXHtTIgsOVBmeGpxAjJiuWzOl VSA6yS2A The passion for discovery, curiosity and observation of humanbeing led me to have a degree in psychology in which non-judgment is fundamental, infact the key with which I read and interact with my models, is to feel their soul by pulling it outside and capturing the intimacy of moments with them.
