We are organising art exhibitions in all our Galleries and we invite artists from all over the world to share their work with us and participate in our shows! The aim is to create opportunities, in order to encourage and support artists to exhibit and promote their work.

ELENA SOROKA @elena_soroka_art

I live and work in Moscow (Russia), was born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). I am researching a woman’s self-awareness, formed through the prism of stereotypes and prejudices that were developed in society. I compare behavior deviation from expected patterns to a glitch effect. Glitch art opposes the digital culture promoting an ideal transmission of the image. The glitch is an inconsistency in the information expected. Social glitch is self-expression through violation of programmed standing orders. I express the glitch effect through the Central Asian ikat ornament. An ornament is a visual projection of a society. And for me personally it is endowed with special meanings because I grew up in Tashkent, and oriental ornament is part of my aesthetics.

BIRUTE VARDAS @birutevardas

An architect and artist born in Lithuania in 1984. She graduated in 2007 from Gediminas Technical University of Vilnius. Birute Vardas has been living, painting and working (in Vardastudio www.vardastudio.com) in Paphos since 2007. My work is aimed at exploring the emotional amplitude in sectional spaces usually architectural objects, using minimal elements of composition. Architecture and painting are part of my everyday life, exploring the pleasures of life. Architectural ideas are the supplement of my paintings and painting is the supplement of my architectural work. They are interconnected to each other. For me painting is an integral part of designing, helping to discover and explore the ideas which become forms.

NATASHA MES @mesnatasha

I’m Natasha Mes, artist from Russia. The purpose of my work is to show pure, non objective vision of this world. I strongly see, that objectivity of our everyday vision restricts our perception to a narrow range of established concepts, making us unable to look from a different angle. Non objectivity forces you to search and find something new in your experience. Something fresh and different. To feel it; not just see.

MERCEDES DAWSON @slippedink

Poet and artist creating visceral works from written pieces. Mercedes Dawson is a self-taught artist, beginning her journey into painting 3 years prior as a result of an operation that altered the relationship with and perception of her body. Using layered and textured acrylic to create visceral quality to the works and to represent emotion, in all its forms, the body is centre to her focus, working through the gaze with pieces that want to be touched but are out of reach. Mercedes has been most recently shown by the MASA-UK gallery and features in the WhereAreTheWomenArtists directory.

ANNA LAZAREVA @laza_anna

My childhood I've spent at my grandmother's house in Romania, near the Carpathian Mountains. Seeing human's strong bond with earth, observing nature, landscapes around influenced my understanding of earth beauty and mens connexion with it. All being is something whole, indivisible. Earth, sky, plants, fruits, mountains, rivers, men, women, day, night- all merged together and flows into each other. This process is infinite and harmonious. Men came from earth, lives on earth and will return to earth. And landscapes of earth are seen in body curves. Growing up I moved to live in big cities, my grandmother passed away and I felt a loss of spiritual connexion with nature. For reconnect I start to search the Landscapes in body in my photography.

LINA CHOUFTA @studiotempete

My name is Lina, I live in Greece and I am 25 years old. I study civil engineering and I completed my studies in Interior Designing on July 2020. Since I remember myself I express my view of world through art. I still cannot define art but if it evokes an emotion in you, then I suppose it is art. Georgia O’Keeffe, an American painter, once said “Filling a space in a beautiful way, that’s art means to me.”
