SVETLANA MORBINI @morbinistudio
My name is Svetlana Morbini; I'm a Russian artist currently based in London, UK. My paintings explore the versatility of acrylic medium with its infinite colour range and unique textures. My surroundings have always influenced my creative process. I consider nature my leading source of inspiration as the main creator of surprising colour pallets. Through the exploration of natural patterns and aesthetics, my work represents a sense of fluidity. Each artwork I create endures numerous process stages, allowing it to reach a sense of depth. I believe in the power of art to make us feel uplifted. That is why, creating my artworks, I always aim to transmit positive emotions to the viewer.

KRISTY CHAN @kristychanart
My work explores the notion of migration, and the mundanities in everyday life that makes home feel like home. I take inspiration from my everyday life, ranging from thinking about buying a box of sushi from Wasabi on the tube, to how much I enjoy lying on my friend, Aiym’s sofa, as they are gigantic and it engulfs you. Dissertation Fuel deals with my frustration I experienced, where I did not paint for a month just so I can get into the right mindset to finish my masters dissertation. It was painful and i was blessed to have Luna, my previous flatmate, whom baked me Matcha cakes and we ate roasted carrots almost exclusively.

IMOGEN PATEL @imogensart1999
I am a British Asian artist currently in my final year at the University of Brighton, completing my BA (Hons) in Fine Art: Painting. Throughout my practice I have never felt the need to explore or address my heritage, worried that it would seem predictable as a BAME artist. Prejudices have invalidated my voice within my work and until now, I haven’t felt comfortable enough in discussing my experiences and response to racial issues I have faced. The process of my work involves using old postcards passed down from my Grandparents, which drew a lot of my attention to the British countryside. The further this idea developed, the more I began to question my Indian heritage and response to the glorification of the British landscape. This ignited an interest about my own experiences growing up in a predominately White home county; I found that I could not explicitly present myself as being British Asian. My aim is to challenge the feeling that I cannot be recognised in both cultures as either White or Indian, and through art, create a space where I am able to fuse these two communities together.

BATSWEARBLACK @batswearblack
Kjell from @BatsWearBlack started drawing at an early age. At first his illustrations resembled the works of his childhood heroes Tim Burton and Edward Gorey but in 2017 Kjell developed a style of his own: whimsical, fable-like mixed media illustrations that mainly feature animals. Kjell has exhibited his artwork in galleries and restaurants in London as well as various cities in mainland Europe. His illustrations have featured in magazines and in late 2019 Kjell started his street art journey and he's since created several pieces on London’s Southbank. Kjell works by the motto: ‘If you can think it, you can draw it’.

REGIE ALQUIZALAS @regiealq.art
My artworks are Surreal usually deals with life and nature in general. Expressed through painting and sculpture. Skulls are usually associated with death and I use these imagery as a warning As an artist I have to do this. Our nature is losing the battle against the negative effects of human intervention. We had been taking so much from natural resources to the point of destruction. Killing, hunting and poaching the wildlife for their meat, fur, skin, scale and tusk to the point of extinction. Art is a very powerful form of communication and the possibility is boundless. These artworks will create ripples that would affect even the next generation.

TERO @tero.studio
As an Architect and Artist creating shapes and forms has always been my passion. Focused on creating Abstract Artworks that combine a chaotic colorful background with vibrant lines and shapes that pop up on the foreground trying to escape from the general composition. Deeply fascinated by the variety of understandings and feelings that can emerge from the sight of an abstract piece of art. My inspirations are the intensity of the colours and the simplicity hidden in lines.
