IVAN PRAVDIN
I am Ivan. I am an artist who specializes in collaboration between ideas and technologies. I am exploring AI for creativity. This series is called “Souls”. Its goal is to discover how such a complex and abstract concept as soul and consciousness can be represented using AI technologies. This series was created by combining two separate neural networks: one of them produces artificial images of human bodies, another produces artificial images of faces. Combining them into one model created an effect of “soul”. At the same time, details of bodies and faces are still recognizable.

ANA-MARIA PANAITESCU @ana_maria_panaitescu
My intention is to use just a few elements and see how much I can transmit to people who are watching, in assamblage and in painting. A kind of “less is more.” Most of my work is about using traditional materials (like wood, canvas, paper, cardboard, metal, oil colors) and finding a way to combine it with new stuff, like silicon, acrylics, polystyrene, different types of strong glue, etc. It is my way of being traditional and living in our days at the same time, a way of respect for our ancestors and going forward, adding a contemporary sign. All of my recent works are a geometrical and serialist research; it is about the complex variation of horizontal and vertical lines composition. These days, the ideas of "contactless" and "isolation" has become powerful for all of us. In trying to represent this, I found that the serialism is helping me a lot. Finding some elements that I repeat, is very interesting to me. For a long time now, I have admired Andy Warhol's work, in the same measure that I value and draw upon my native Byzantine roots.

SVENJA MICHELLE BEHLE @s.m.behle
Svenja Michelle Behle (*1996) is a young abstract artist from Berlin. Her work builds around the abstraction of a dystopian reality through patterns. The print and mixed media pieces she creates resemble polluted landscapes and contaminated environments through distortion of imagery from memory. After 3 ½ years in South East Asia and witnessing the devastating and very visible effects of waste pollution, reducing and repurposing of materials plays an important role in her creative process. The works made from recycled or found materials discuss ways to combat waste pollution and its effects through art.

SKUBACHEVSKIY GLEB @gleb_skubachevsky
Gleb Skubachevsky was born in Moscow in 1989. He acquired an excellent academic education. Skubachevsky' s work are very unique. They envolve an incredibly fine, complex and painstaking technique, which recquires a very delicate approach, concentration and a huge amount of time. Thus, the process of creation and works themselves are meditative. Skubachevsky' s art is on the verge of painting, sculpture and design, and this ballance is always difficult to sustain. The author is constantly searching for new creative ideas and texhniques. He has developed his art from painting on six-foot canvas to complex objects, and sculpture. Gleb took a part in over than 50 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His works are in private collections in Russia, The Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Greece, Montenegro, Brazil and Hong Kong.

KSENIA DOLGORUKOVA @ksenia.dolgorukova My name is Ksenia Dolgorukova, I'm a photographer from Moscow, Russia. I'd like to show you one of my favorite projects to take an opportunity to take part in your virtual exhibition. It's called "Thaw". Here's a short description of it: Spring is in the yard. Have you ever wondered what spring looks like in a particular country and individual city? For example, before the usual spring comes, in Russia there is such a period as a thaw. How does the thaw look like in Russia? I will explain it. Imagine a long-long winter, a lack of sunlight and dull cities. But then, when the first calendar days of spring come, there is a thaw. When through this greyness and coldness, the sun begins to appear. Green buds appear on the trees, and the sky is painted in a light blue colour. The pale faces of Russians from a grey shade are filled with colours of the thaw - a little yellow from the sun, green from fresh grass, and the blue colour of the sky reflects in their eyes. Everyone is waiting for spring, waiting for flowers. And hope sprouts from our flesh, and we are waiting when the sun warms us. Of course, many Russians associate the word "Thaw" with the Soviet space. Therefore, I added elements of the Soviet-era - wallpaper with flowers, an electric burner and a kettle, which were in every house, and Ilyich's dim light bulb. I hope you enjoy the atmosphere.
