Red Dot Miami is a curated contemporary art show featuring 75+ international galleries exhibiting paintings, sculpture, photography, and secondary market works. The show attracts over 38,000 visitors, a majority of whom are high-net-worth collectors, for an unforgettable five days of cutting-edge art, entertainment, and special events. Taking place in a 55,000-square-foot structure adjacent to Spectrum Miami, the show runs during Miami Art Week, an annual event that draws visitors from all over the world with its wide variety of art exhibitions, museum and performing arts events, and other attractions.
Miami’s Arts and Entertainment District, a 7.5-acre cultural oasis in the heart of the city, sets the stage for Red Dot Miami. Just minutes from all of Miami’s hottest neighborhoods, including Wynwood, the Design District, Downtown, and South Beach, the Arts and Entertainment District is Miami’s newest cultural gem. And now other shows are following our lead—Art Miami and CONTEXT are moving just several blocks away, making it a breeze for attendees to zip from event to event.
WHY Since its inception in 2006, Red Dot has enriched the city’s arts scene beyond measure, becoming one of the leading satellite shows during Miami Art Week. We’re looking to represent a wide range of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, installation art, and glasswork—we do not accept jewelry, tapestries, or any sort of arts-and-crafts work. HOW WE SELECT EXHIBITORS Since Red Dot Miami is a curated show, we rely on our outstanding Exhibitor Committee, made up of art-industry professionals with stellar reputations in publishing and artist development, to select the galleries that will
receive coveted booths at Red Dot. To be considered for participation, you must be an established gallery or art dealer. All exhibiting companies will be required to submit a portfolio or website for review. Upon acceptance from the Exhibitor Committee, you’ll be assigned a booth location (normally within three days).
THE EXHIBITION SPACE Red Dot Miami provides a streamlined, clutter-free venue in which gallery owners can showcase their work with ease and style and in which attendees and trade buyers can feel comfortable. The upgraded venue, featuring deeper booths, new flooring, and an exclusive VIP lounge, enforces strict hanging and installation guidelines and pays attention to detail and aesthetics in order to make the experience smooth and enjoyable for all involved.
