Please read this document in detail. Ensure you have obtained the relevant endorsements. Ensure you have compiled the relevant visa information to submit (due to the fact that the process of legalizing AI members takes approx. 4 months it is COMPULSORY to submit all necessary visa information together with your application! Also, you will necessarily need a passport valid for at least 2 years from the moment of submitting the application). Complete the appropriate application form for the position for President of AIESEC International. Submit your application, the endorsements and other requested material (Blank paper challenge, etc.) by 17:00 GMT Sunday, 24th of January 2016 to Ana Saldarriaga at https://podio.com/webforms/14353010/962200 o Late applications - even by a few minutes - WILL NOT be accepted, and no exceptions will be given, including in the cases of email/computer dysfunction. Extensions will not be given. As such, we strongly recommend you do not wait until the last minute to submit your application, as you will be risking it not being accepted should unforeseen events occur. The election process Nomination Procedure: Each candidate must present their application, application should be maximum: o 1 page for the Executive Summary. o 1 page for the Bio. o 1 page for the CV. o 6 pages for the Questionnaire. o 1 page for the Blank Paper Challenge. • The minimum font size is 10. • You must submit 6 endorsement letters from member committee with your application. Your application and endorsement letters will be distributed in the next AI mailing after the deadline. o In case we receive more than 6 endorsements, you will be requested to choose 6 that you wish to be enclosed as official endorsements with your application. You shall send your application and other materials via e-mail attachment to: Ana Saldarriaga (PAI) at https://podio.com/webforms/14353010/962200 You will receive confirmation of receipt of your application as soon as it has been received (only if reception of the applications happens during AIESEC International working hours). o If reception of applications occurs out of working hours you will be notified of reception within a maximum of 24 hours. Any member considering to apply or re-apply for any role on the AIESEC International team should not be involved in any part of the formation of the application or selection process (including but not limited to the formation of general and role specific questions). This is with the exception of the formation of job descriptions. For more details on the AI Application Process, please look at the Supporting document L2 that outlines the AI application process.

The election procedures PRESIDENT To stand for the position of PAI, you must participate in the election process at International Presidents Meeting. The process is as follows: 1. Each candidate will participate in the election process outlined below at IPM. The final specifications of the process must be finalized at least 10 days prior to the start of pre-meeting at IPM by AIESEC International. None of the PAI candidates may participate in the final discussions about the process details. 2. Each candidate will give a 10-minute opening speech to the plenary. 3. Each candidate will participate in one or several Questions & Answers sessions. The Q&As must be designed so that every MCP has the opportunity to participate in at least one Q&A session with each candidate. 5 | PAI Job Description 2016 – 2017
4. Each candidate will participate in one or several panels/discussions. The panels/discussions must be designed so that every MCP has the opportunity to participate in at least one panel/discussion with each candidate. At least one part of the panels/discussions should be dedicated to issues external to AIESEC, which are relevant to AIESEC. 5. Each candidate will give a three-minute closing speech to the plenary. Immediately after all speeches are completed, there will be a member meeting, ballot papers distributed and voting conducted.
After the election procedures Transition Transition commences immediately after your election. Discussions and work will be done through the use of EXPA, e-mail etc. • • • • •
Transition will start immediately after elections. Full time transition for the PAI 2015-2016 starts on April 1st 2015. AI will pay salaries from these starting dates. Your own transition (at national level, if you are on a Member Committee) has to be completely finished by the time you come to Rotterdam. It is vital that all candidates are committed to being in Rotterdam no later than the above mentioned times.

Requirements for a working permit in the Netherlands Together with application form you have to submit: Nationals of EU/EEA countries (except EU state of Croatia): • •
Copy of passport – the pages that contain your pictures and personal details. Have your translated birth certificate ready, because you will be asked to show it when registering in the municipality once you come to the Netherlands.

Copy of passport – ALL pages including the blank ones. The passport should be valid at least 2 years after the start of the new AI term. Copy of legalized, translated and certified birth certificate. By "legalization" we mean that the authorities in the country where the documents come from sign a statement saying that an official body issued the documents. This statement is usually provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Ministry of Justice in your country. Birth certificate of nationals from India, Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, and Dominican Republic must be verified and approved by the Dutch diplomatic representation (embassy or consulate) in your country of origin. Verification might take a number of months! Please note that birth certificate should not be mistaken for certificate of birth registry - these are two separate documents, what we need is the birth certificate. (To find the contact information of Dutch embassy or consulate in your country for birth certificate legalization, please can refer to following link: http://www.mfa.nl/en). Copy of your diploma (if graduated) with academic transcripts (this is the paper that you get from your university's registrar that outlines all the courses that you have taken in the university and the corresponding marks for each course. The document should be translated into English or Dutch if it’s written in another language.) If you have not graduated yet you need to get latest academic transcripts from your university. An AIESEC experience confirmation letter addressed to UWV that includes your complete name and passport number in which it is stated your date of joining AIESEC and all your relevant roles held within the organization signed by the MCP (elect is applicable in case you are current MCP). The name of the city and country where you will pick up your Dutch visa if you get elected (you should pick up your visa in your home country unless you have an official residence of currently residing country that valid for at least 5 months after the new AI term). o Notice: The process of issuing the Dutch visa might take up to 6 months (!) You may not have a criminal record.
ALL Documents should be translated into English, Dutch, French or German. Translation should be notarized. All the above-mentioned documents should be provided at the applicant’s own expense. NOTE! Copies of ALL the above documents must be provided otherwise we CANNOT apply for work permit and working visa. Keep original documents with you, because the Embassy may request them again in your country. The above documents should be scanned in good quality (in resolution good enough to be able to print and read all numbers and letters) and attached together with your application for AIESEC International. If for any reason you were not able to obtain them on time, we at least need papers proving that you have initiated the procedures for obtaining all the above documents, in order to consider your applications complete. *Legal documents requirement might be changed during the process, we will immediately update this document and inform candidates throughout the process. I have the privilege of being part of an incredibly life-changing team experience, and one thing I can assure you is that every PAI experience is unique.
