Introduction Dear candidate, In this application you will be able to use all your creativity when creating and designing your own application form to stand for President of AIESEC International 2016-2017. The process has been designed to help you step out of the crowd and feel completely comfortable with your application making sure that it reflects you; it reflects your personality and your perspectives. At the same time, filling the application will support you in preparing yourself for a great term on AIESEC International. The application for President of AIESEC International 1617 is divided into six parts: 1. Executive Summary: A one-page summary of your entire application. 2. Bio: Create your own biography and share it with us. You have just one limitation, one page! For examples on how a bio can be structured, please check out the following two links. • David Pollay, CEO of The Momentum Project and Traci Fenton, CEO/cofounder of WorldBlu 3. CV: Give us all important information we need to know about you, your AIESEC career, other jobs you have had, your contact details etc. You can use a maximum of one (1) page to create your CV. 4. PAI Questionnaire: These questions must be answered by all candidates and should not take more than 6 (Six) pages. 5. Blank Paper Challenge: 1 page to share with us what matters most to you (see final page of this document for details) 6. Endorsement Letters (6 in total) Additional Notes for the Application: You can create your own design (graphic style and color usage). Make sure you create a separate file for your Executive Summary, Bio, your CV and your answers. We will be expecting four PDF files in addition to the endorsement letters: 1. 2. 3. 4.

We will also be expecting the legal documents mentioned in the Candidates Booklet. For members of the current AIESEC International team, you do not need to re-submit legal document. If you have any questions concerning the applications or the application process please contact Ana or the election manager once is selected. PAI Questionnaire 1. What is driving you to continue in AIESEC? Why have you decided to stand for President of AIESEC International? What do you want to take out of this experience? 2. What has AIESEC done for the world so far? How do YOU envision the impact that AIESEC can do for the world? 3. Considering the current context, which trends do you see shaping the world in the following years? In the light of these trends, what will it mean for our global organisation to stay ahead of the curve? 4. What does AIESEC 2020 mean to you? What are the similarities you see with AIESEC 2015 and what is different? What is the biggest change you see? 5. What are the 3 key areas we should focus on globally during the next 5 years so that our organization progresses closer to what we envision? 6. What behaviors and organizational culture did AIESEC 2015 bring? What do you think needs to continue and what needs to evolve in our organization in order to successfully implement AIESEC 2020? 7. Make a brief SWOT analysis of the organization keeping in mind how the organization has evolved since 1999. With this context, what would you do as PAI to lead Gen1617? 8. What are the biggest questions Gen1617 has to find an answer to? 9. What should be the role of a Member/LC/MC/AI in the implementation of 2020? What needs to happen next year for that role to become a reality? What structure do you envision for AI 16-17? 10. In the context of 2016-2017, rank in order of importance the key responsibilities of President of AIESEC International (Team management, strategic direction, AI financial sustainability, governance and accountability, global network engagement and communication, and external representation) and the reasons for your ranking
Blank Paper Challenge You have 1 page and all your creativity to propose what is the biggest question that lies in front of AIESEC today and give an answer to it. You have the license to change the system, to challenge any paradigms and unleash the potential of the organization.
