The PAI is the final responsible for day-to-day management of the AIESEC International team. The PAI is the ultimate decision maker and sole person responsible for the activities and actions of AIESEC International. The PAI is responsible for carrying out the decisions of the legislative meetings and coordinating the work of AIESEC International. The PAI shall present a general report on AI operations for each ILM, to be distributed 4 weeks beforehand. The PAI, together with the VPF is responsible for the financial control of AIESEC International. The PAI, together with the VPs, are responsible for the direction of AIESEC. If requested, the PAI must make him/herself available to take part of the AI Supervisory Group between Jan 2018-Dec 2019.
Areas of individual responsibility:
Ensure the alignment of AIESEC’s strategic decisions with the AIESEC Way and while ensuring continuous progress towards the AIESEC 2020 midterm ambition’s achievement and beyond Ensure the implementation of the next mid-term ambition 2020 and long term planning of AIESEC Ensure a long-term approach towards AIESEC’s strategic decisions while ensuring the memory of the organizational change is kept Strategy Direction
Ensure a proper strategic AI planning and its execution in alignment with the first two items listed above Ensure the right AI internal structure to address strategic topics under the global direction (projects, JDs, deliverables) Oversee, supervise, feedback and track strategic work progress at different part of the AI structure (task forces, internal teams, AI projects) and ensure cohesion Participate and be final responsible for the involvement of MCPs in strategic decisions. Ensure high quality of the steering team meetings and outputs
Team Management
Responsible for the AI planning process, it’s alignment with the Global Plan and individual JDs of the AI members

Manage and track team performance on a weekly basis, and organize team days at least every quarter Run performance appraisals and individual meetings with AI members at least every quarter. Team Management
Ensure education and training needed for the team and the individual members are delivered based on needs. Ensure the delivery of the Team Minimums in the AI team Coordinate the AI efforts to deliver the commitments with the resources allocated
AI Financial Sustainability
Be an active member of the Management Team Track the budget variations at the end of each quarter or as often as needed Keep the team informed of the financial situation of AI and create ownership of it Final responsible in AI for the alignment of the global plenary Final responsible in AI for AI plan tracking vs. achieved
Governance and Accountability
Co-chair the AI SG meetings with the SG Chair Report to the organization quarterly on the performance of AI as well as the performance of the global network Ensure follow up of global plenary decisions, internal auditors recommendations, ST meetings output and SG meetings output Ensure global communication with MCPs and their engagement in global direction and Dialogues
Global Network Engagement and Communication
Final responsible in AI for the alignment of the global plenary towards the achievement of AIESEC 2020 under the framework of AIESEC way in framework creation and process facilitation (including address the global network in issues related to alignment and propose solutions to be approved by the global plenary as well as to deal with critical misaligned countries/territories to ensure global health of the organization) Final responsible in AI for the internal communication with the network, being the end representative of AIESEC International towards the global network Management of personal social media channel to ensure alignment with AIESEC value Final representative of AIESEC globally to external stakeholders (global partners, youth organizations, UN, alumni, etc.)
External Representation
Represent AIESEC in key external events (managed in synergy with the AI VP Public Relations Co-manage AIESEC and UN partnership together with the AI VP Public Relations

Ability to represent AIESEC regionally and internationally. Extensive team management experience at Local and Member Committee levels. Active participation and knowledge about the recent global discussions and strategy building processes at global level (such as IPM, IC, key EXPA and digital platforms strategic/management discussions) Experience in communicating AIESEC direction and contribution to external bodies and different sectors of the society National and local operational and long term planning experience. Understanding of Global Compendium and decision making processes and accountability systems of AIESEC International. Understanding and fair knowledge of financial management and legal affairs. Extensive knowledge on the growing external trends, internal global issues.
