our years ago, a Baptist minister named Denpo* and his wife, Gewa,* a former Buddhist, discovered the three angels’ messages and joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Unable to remain in the parish where Denpo served, the couple and their three sons lost both their home and their income. But an Adventist woman took them in, and eventually the Myanmar Union Mission learned about the family. With support from ASAP, Denpo is completing theological studies at Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary. He will soon launch to an unentered region in central Myanmar as an ASAP church planter. Gewa, who has basic nursing training and has enthusiastically embraced the Adventist health message, will accompany him as an ASAP medical missionary. Together, they will minister to Burmese Buddhists, the largest unreached people group (31 million) in Myanmar.
