Single water supply system for two bath/toilet units with one septic tank, filtrations of kitchen wastewater. One power connection / meter.

Komunitas Anak Kali Ciliwung at Ancol Subdistrict, North Jakarta, since mid 2015 voluntarily dismantle all of its buildings which were situated above the river up to five-meter distance from the embankment, clearing the way for a river's inspection lane.

The community initiative serves as the first step for residents to plan and reorganise the informal settlement for a clean and secure urban kampung. This infographic is based on experience in design and development of the Pilot House at Kampung Tongkol during October 2015 - January 2016.

Bamboo roof and canopy trusses, an environmental-friendly building material. The bamboo was treated to resist pests and fungal attack and made permanent.

Reuse of materials (stairs, wood beams, etc.) from the torn buildings enhance cost-effectiveness.

Sufficient airflows and natural light for each room so as to avoid excessive humidity, and to avoid the use of lamps during the day.
