DINNER FOR ASHLAND SENIORS Don’t forget the Senior Citizens Dinner sponsored by the Ashland United Methodist Women. It will be on Thursday at noon, the 18th of November, at the St. Augustine Catholic Hall. This will be the 32nd year we have been able to offer the dinner as a gift to the Seniors of the community. (In most cases this will be Seniors serving Seniors!!) We use a capital ―S‖ on spelling Seniors because they are important to our Village in every way. Reservations are not necessary but are requested. Please call Pat Houser at 476-3460 or Eleanor Cosner at 4523409. Carry-out service is available if you are unable to come to the hall. If a ride is needed ask when you make your reservation.

There is a Veteran's Day assembly at A-C Central High School on November 11th 2010. It is from 8:20-8:50 A.M. There will also be a collection stand for people to drop off their goods for current soldiers. They will be collecting eye wash, nasal spray, Chap-stick, bandannas, goggles/sunglasses, back scratchers, bubble wrap, yo-yo's, bubbles, etc. The community is welcome to join and we are welcoming any and all donations to be sent to the soldiers. Thank you,

The Cass County Health Dept. will be there again this year to do blood pressure checks and flu shots. We do want to thank them for the services they provide and also offer thanks to the Catholic Church for the use of their handicapped accessible building.
