Was it the Gods above Or visitors from distant galaxies That taught you the magic of the pyramids, The secret passages aligned to the stars, And hidden vaults that safeguard Unknown cosmic equations?

Your formidable shaven headed priests And resplendent queens that held Emperors’ hearts to ransom Have left behind pictorial puzzles And scattered memories That modern man and their super computers Are yet to fathom or decipher.

Meantime under the blazing sun Upon the burning sands The pyramids taunt us with their solemn silence, And a broken-nosed Pharaonic lion Smiles smugly at our wonder And fascinated Ignorance.

I am an ex-Army Officer, and an ex-corporate professional, and alongside, a theatre actor and actor-trainer for over 50 years. I am Founder-Facilitator of “CorporateTheatre” – a theatre-based experiential learning methodology for corporate leaders and teams.

Published a book of poems – SPIRIT LAKES & Other Poems – An Actor’s Journey early this year. As an offshoot of theatre, have acted in several ad films, short films, and feature films.
