Bonner at the Greater Refuge Temple Church, New York City, and soon after heard the voice of the Lord and was called to the ministry in 1966.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Education from New York University and a Masters Degree in Theology and an honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College, Sacramento, California. He has taught in the New York City Public School System and at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has also studied under Chief Apostle W.L. Bonner at the W.L. Keith, “his lady”, and to this union, they have three sons, three daughters-in-laws; one daughter, “his princess”who is resting in the sweet arms of Jesus, along with nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. All of their children are fervently serving the Lord and are ministering in their talents. Family is the foundation of his life. In 1976, at the National Convocation of the Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., in San Francisco, California, under the unction of the Holy Ghost, Chief Apostle Bonner appointed then Elder Keith to go into the field to establish and shepherd a church in Louisville, Kentucky. He called the church, “Refuge In Kentucky”. In 1980 he was appointed as the National Corresponding Secretary of the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Bishop Keith became District Elder of

Kentucky in 1986, and was elevated by the Board of Bishops to serve as Junior Bishop from 1990-1995. In 1995, in Columbia, South Carolina, Bishop Keith was consecrated to a full Bishopric with the duty to preside over the states of Kentucky and Indiana. Bishop Keith was appointed Administrative Assistant to the Regional Apostle, Bishop James I. Clark, Jr. at our convocation in New Jersey, in August of 1998. He served as the Chairman over the Board of Bishops for the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., for four years, the Region 6 Regional Coordinator, and the Diocesan Bishop for Kentucky and Indiana. He presides over two churches in Kentucky and three churches in Indiana. He was elevated to an Apostle July 2017. Along with his wife, he teaches a monthly class for couples and they co-facilitate Marriages Alive and Well Seminars. In addition, he has conducted revivals from coast to coast across the continental United States, preached innumerable sermons, taught many classes, and prayed many prayers.
