Amenities and Accommodations

The Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center offers both indoor and outdoor fun and recreation for our guests. There are a wide range of amenities that meet the various needs of each guest, from an indoor pool with two whirlpools, outdoor seasonal pool with kiddie pool, fitness center, game room, onsite guest laundry, picnic area with grill, pier that allows docking of boats, Indigo Blu’ Boutique, Heidel House 24/7 market, two Tesla charging stations and business center.

For your convenience, the fitness room is available 24 hours a day. Enjoy complimentary access to treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights and more. The activity room next door will keep both the young and young at heart occupied with ping pong, arcade games and more. Both rooms are located in the West building.

The indoor pool and whirlpools are open to all of our overnight guests from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Adult-only swim is from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The outdoor pool is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. seasonally, weather permitting.

Oakwood Restaurant

Looking for a fine dining experience with a fantastic view?

Oakwood Restaurant is the place to go. Grab a specialty cocktail, beer, or glass of wine at our fabulous Oakwood Bar before dinner. Be seated next to floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. Order one of our entrees created by our Executive Chef, and leave room for dessert!

Oakwood Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. We do not take reservations, but the Oakwood Bar is an excellent place to wait for a table if needed. Hours vary by season. Please visit our dining page on our website for current hours and menus.

Waves Pub & Grill

Casual dining, great food, and a variety of seating options are offered at Waves Pub & Grill. Come by foot, car, or boat! Dock your boat at our public pier and come enjoy a bite on the patio in the Summer or come watch the “big game” inside during the winter months. Waves has something for everyone. Try our favorite, the Pinsa pizzas, or get an array of appetizers to share with friends and family. Check out our fun seasonal drinks and sip away at Waves Pub and Grill.

You don’t know Green Lake until you’ve toured Big Green! Explore the state’s deepest natural inland lake aboard The Escapade while enjoying the on-board cash bar and incredible views. The Escapade is a grand way to view the area’s beautiful scenery and historic buildings. Your captain will keep you entertained as they share timeless stories of the lake. Within minutes of Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center, rolling greens and winding fairways await at four renowned courses. Choose from the Golf Courses of Lawsonia, Tuscumbia Golf Course Mascoutin

Golf Club and The Rock Golf Club. Located directly across the street from the Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center is Tuscumbia Golf Course, Wisconsin’s oldest golf course. And just 5 miles away lies the award winning Golf Courses of Lawsonia.

Green Lake offers a variety of activities and equipment to rent. Want to load up the boat at Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center? Work with local businesses like Lake Street Marina and Pierless Boat Rentals to have your rental dropped off and picked up at the Heidel House pier! (NO overnight docking)

Looking for something on land? No problem! Green Lake has it all. Bring your bikes or rent some downtown to travel the many roads with lake views. Drive out to The Green Lake Conference Center for miles and miles of hiking and walking trails. Or take a stroll down Illinois Ave. and Lake St. to downtown Green Lake to grab an ice cream cone, listen to some music, or do a little shopping.

Green Lake is fortunate to have a large variety of places to eat and drink. Fine dining, casual dining, jump off the boat for a cold drink and appetizers, bar hop, late night pizza, quick bite, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or even just a morning coffee, Green Lake has what your looking for. Enjoy “the good life” in Green Lake, Wisconsin where there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Ripon

Explore the many shops on Ripon’s Waston Street while enjoying a morning coffee or perhaps a sweet ice cream cone from one of the downtown businesses. Don’t forget to check out the Summer Concert Series for some amazing music acts located right in downtown Ripon!

Berlin

Golf 9, 18, or even all 27 holes at Mascoutin Golf Club and then swing by Shepard’s Drive In for a sweet treat. Visit Riverside Park and stroll along the Fox River for a bit of fresh air and serenity.

EMERGENCIES

For your safety, please review the emergency evacuation from your room located on the back of your room door. For priority response to any emergency just dial 0.

ROOM LOCKS

All room doors are locked automatically upon closing. For your security we have also installed a deadbolt and/or a bar or chain lock. Please use the additional security devices for “do not disturb” purposes.

IN CASE OF FIRE

Personal safety should be considered before enacting any fire procedures. · Familiarize yourself with the hotel floor layout as posted on the back of the door. · Test door before opening. If it is hot, DO NOT open it. If not, open slowly. Leave your room as quickly and safely as you can and evacuate the building. Take your room key · Use the stairway, not the elevator. Heat rises for stay close to the floor. · Use a wet towel over your face in case of dense smoke or heat. · Go to the north end of the property (by the tennis courts). · If you are unable to leave your room, put wet towels along the bottom of the door and open the window.· Call the Front Desk and let them know where you are. · Wait for help by the window and make yourself visible to rescue personnel. · Remain calm and away from all buildings until the “all clear” is sounded.

IN CASE OF TORNADO

Personal safety should be considered before enacting any tornado procedures. · Be alert to the weather. Turn on the radio or TV. If you hear severe weather announcements, we are in Green Lake County.· If a tornado WARNING has been issued, exit your guest room and go to the lower level of the Lac Verde building or the Main building· Use the stairway, not the elevator. · If the weather does not allow you to evacuate from outer buildings, go into your bathroom or the lowest hallway of the building.· Remain calm. Stay in designated safe areas until the “all clear” is sounded.
