To take comfort in God when things look very black and threatening (v. 1-5): "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early."

INTIMACY IN MARRIAGE
Quotations
Binoy Kumar Muduli “ A psychiatrist asks a lot of e x p e n s i v e It is fondly said, "Marriages are made in heaven." questions your wife But why people marry? asks for nothing.” Joey Adams There could be many interesting responses to this. But more interestingly, there are four myths about marriage. “Gratitude is the Myth #1 sign of noble souls.” Aesop “If you can’t explain it simply, y o u d o n ’ t understand it well enough.” Albert Einstein
"People marry because they love each other."
There are many other reasons: ecstatic romanticism, wishes of parents and/or friends, loneliness, the desire for economic security, etc. Myth #2 "Having children increases marital satisfaction."
The demands of raising children rob time for relationship building and maintenance; there's often financial strain; these and other pressures result in exhaustion and short temper. “Appearances o f t e n a r e Myth #3 deceiving.” "A good sex life is the best predictor of marital satisfaction." Aesop There are many other extremely important factors: communication, problem solving, and “Every problem has quality of leisure time together. These are all more significant reasons of maintaining a a gift for you in its good marriage than the sex life. hands.” Richard David Bach Myth #4 "Half of all marriages end up in divorce." “As long as one keeps searching, Actually, according to the 1990 Census, 8.6 % of the adult population is divorced in any the answers come.” one year; slightly less than a fourth of all adults who have ever been married have also been divorced. John Baez “Solitude is fine, but you need someone to tell you that solitude is fine.” H.A. De Balzac
Married life is complex. Why? Because there are many dynamics involved in the marriage relationship. The husband and the wife each face the challenges of life, whether that be overcoming personal challenges, being successful on a job, raising children, dealing with family members, and just simply the daily pressures of life. These can seem even more challenging in a marriage; the couple must work together to overcome many of the issues. In the midst of all this stuff, it is easy for couples to lose sight of each other. Work, children, bills, and other commitments can drain the time and energy out of a relationship. But spending time together to nurture a loving, and healthy relationship is one of the most vital building blocks of a successful marriage relationship.
In a world of seemingly infinite distractions, how can a couple find the time to get together. A solution is to designate a regular time to get together. This time should be reserved not to discuss the house budget, or a problem with one of kids, but a time to be with each other, and invest in intimate conversation and interaction. You could call it a date night, or whatever interesting name you want to give it. When two people - designed and made for each other, come together, there is often an incredible amount of combustibility. Combustion occurs when two or more substances react chemically together, resulting in the giving off of heat and light; often called burning. In the same manner, two people joined together by God can spiritually set each other on fire. This is beginning of unlocking the principles of intimacy in marriage. Principle #1: Cultivate a spiritual life A couple that intentionally and actively engages in maintaining the spiritual life of the marriage continues to be a strength one to another, and ignites new sparks that blazes through every area of marriage and family. I believe that through personal devotion, mutual support, joint devotions, and spiritual activities, a couple can maintain spiritual intimacy in their marriage.

Amazing Babies The African elephant has the longest pregnancy of any mammal.. She carried her baby for an average of 660 days. When the baby is born it weighs 90-120 Kg.
Principle #2: Cultivate joint spiritual habits A couple spreads the spiritual flames through joint spiritual habits. The most obvious of these is having scheduled devotions. In devotions couples pray and share biblical truths with each other in an open and transparent way. I recommend not only having a scheduled time of devotion, but also allowing that time to develop into a natural habit. In our experience, my wife and I, have found it best not to allow our scheduled time to become a rigid formality; instead, it serves as a training time for the natural flow of our spiritual connection. So that in times of difficulty praying and sharing together will be as simple as breathing.
A baby blue whale is even bigger. It weighs 2000 Kg. and is 7 meter long. It puts on weight at the rate 90 Kg per a day.
Principle #3: Cultivate an interactive, qualitative spiritual dialogue It is more than surface talk, such as “Pastor preached a good sermon today”. It involves Now sharing our deep spiritual thoughts to each other, such as “this is how I'm going to apply the sermon to my daily life..”, or “the Lord showed me weakness in that area”. Remember to “The Candles” interact, and allow each other ample time to share insights and thoughts Has Started Simply enjoy your joint spiritual life; you are heirs together of God's promise.
