Studying abroad in times of COVID... Currently, we’re living in an unprecedented reality with constant threat and unknowns. Nevertheless, our Academy is prepared for different scenarios. Currently, we plan to start the academic year in traditional form but we have prepared options for different circumstances. STEP 1 – DEADLINE: 18 SEPTEMBER 2020 COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION FORM IN ONLINE SYSTEM IS EQUAL TO THE SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION TO THE MFA PROGRAMME. TILL 15/09/2020 CANDIDATE MAY MODIFY HIS/HER ACCOUNT, AFTER THAT DEADLINE THE SYSTEM WILL BE BLOCKED AND THE RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE WILL START ITS WORK. 1. Register at our On-line Enrollment System https://aspwroc.akademus.pl/pbl/student/student/rejestracja/ — After registration, you will receive a password by email. (NOTE! the activation code is only valid for 7 days) — if you took part in the recruitment process at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in the previous 2 years, use your previously created account and choose the course from the catalogue again; — if you are a student or a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, recruit through your student account. If you have not activated it yet, do it: • link to the registration form: https://aspwroc.akademus. pl/pbl/student/student/rejestracja/ • after completing the data you will receive an email with an activation link - NOTE! The link is only valid for 7 days • after clicking on the activation link an account is created and you can log in at https://aspwroc.akademus.pl/ 2. Complete online application form 3. Upload your portfolio (up to 20 works, not older than 3 years) The portfolio should consist of your works and projects documentation, which present your achievements and experience, as well as the profile of your artistic interests. The attached portfolio files (static and dynamic images) should meet the technical requirements specified in the Academy’s Electronic Recruitment System. All files sent should be described in the electronic recruitment system. Descriptions should include: title of the work (compatible with the name of the file), year of creation, dimensions of the original, description of the technique used. The file name should contain the surname, first name, title of the work and a two-digit order number and be in accordance with the following schema: Surname_Name_Title_ job_01.JPG
4. Upload scanned copies of the following documents: — an identity card or passport; — a document confirming the knowledge of the English language proficiency at minimum B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: learning, teaching, assessment ‚CEFR’), it does not apply to candidates who are from countries where English is an official language or who completed secondary schools abroad in which English was the language of instruction; — a diploma of higher education (BA or MA) and a document confirming the course of studies (a transcript of subjects and grades, a supplement to the diploma or a student’s record book).In the case of higher schools graduates who passed the diploma examination in the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 – a certificate of completion of higher education; — a confirmation of payment of the recruitment fee (150 PLN or 35 EUR). —
ATTENTION! All foreign graduation diplomas must be accompanied by an apostille! Diplomas, transcripts and certificates issued in a language other than Polish or English have to be translated into the Polish language by a Polish sworn translator.
STEP 2 – BY 25 SEPTEMBER 2020 The Recruitment Board will analyse uploaded documents by 25 September 2020. By that time you will receive an email with the decision. An official letter regarding the result of the recruitment procedure will be sent to the address given in the application. The Recruitment Board will evaluate your portfolio, and will rate your application on a scale 0-10 points. 12 candidates who received the highest number of points will be offered a place in our programme. The minimum eligibility score is 4 points.
STEP 3 – DEADLINE: 1 OCTOBER 2020 The candidates admitted to the study programme are required to provide the originals of the above documents and: — a scanned copy of a health insurance policy in case of illness or accident during the time of education, or a European Health Insurance Card (Europejska Karta Ubezpieczenia Zdrowotnego, EKUZ), or an insurance acceptance form concerning access to Poland’s National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia, NFZ) immediately after the commencement of the programme; — a colour scan of a valid visa, residence permit or another document entitling its holder to a long-term stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland – in case of foreigners who are not citizens of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA); — 2 recent photographs meeting the requirements of ID photos; — ID photo in digital form (size 300x375 pixels, JPG file).
