Gardens B: Bathing in the outdoor shower of rose water will rejuvenate the senses as one breathes in the fragrances of the surrounding ginger, herbs and the perfumed Osmanthus bush augmented by oil burners located on randomly placed rock ledges.

Gardens C and D: A truly edible garden, where walking on the paving joints planted with mint and thyme (thymus praecox) will crush the herbs and release irresistible aromas into the air, lemon grass and bamboo shoots may be sampled as one freshens up in the stone bowl of rose water.

Garden N: Suspended bronze bells and wind chimes sourced locally from the area will sway gently in the breeze from this open courtyard, while the trickling of water from the poolside urn will create a tranquil tone. Back lit wall niches framing local artifacts and the gentle swing of the brass day beds will further enhance the laid back feel of the space.

Garden P: An archway of Bamboo will provide shady welcome to the restaurant, flanked by graded natural pebbles. During the evening the garden will come alive with brass lanterns and fragment candle lit wall niches. Local pottery accented by striking foliage plants will provide unique silhouettes against the stark walls of the spa exterior.

plan Garden R: The herb garden will be laced with ‘flavors of Delhi’ and be a source of natural ingredients for the restaurant and other herbal treatments.

Mass plantings of Cardamom ginger, curry plant, coriander, basil, saffron and chili, will be complimented by delicate beaten metal bowls of coloured ground herbs as an accent to the walkway and restaurant entry. Fragrant candles and oil burners will further heighten the senses.

Garden U: A true representation of the sub tropical to arid plains around Delhi, featuring red earth and coarse gravels, swathes of flowering native grasses contrasted against the rough palm trunks and silvery foliage of the date palms found in farmlands of the area. A simple hewn stone slab seat will engage the guest with the garden.

Garden X: Textured mother in laws tongue and yuccas’s contrasted against textured stone or plaster walls. Jaali screens would add privacy and back lighting, while the decorative urn of essential oils can moisturize the skin.
