EACH YEAR, WE DEVOTE AN ENTIRE ISSUE to escapes. We may be woefully landlocked here in Atlanta, but we’re a stone’s throw away from some of the South’s finest resort towns and retreats. In this issue alone, we cover the casual-cool vibe of Cashiers; the laid-back luxury of Sea Island; the rustic but refined attitude of Lake Burton; and the elegant serenity of Florida’s Rosemary Beach. While these chic retreats are as self-possessed as they are showstopping, thanks to strategic splashes of color (“Mountain Modern,” page 54), time-honed collections (“Unexpected Allure,” page 43) and brilliant architecture (“Lake Minded, page 62), let’s not forget that it’s possible to fulfill that desire for escape much closer to home. This month, for instance, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles presents the inaugural Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Park, opening to the public for tours on April 23. With more than 20,000-square-feet of interior design goodness (no, greatness!), it’s escapism at it’s finest, and we look forward to welcoming you at the front door. We like to think of it as our very own home away from home this Spring—won’t you join us?

BOLD SHOTS OF COLOR AREN’T NECESSARY in the kitchen of a new French-style abode by Atlanta architecture firm Harrison Design. Instead, a black matte CornuFé range and gracefully curved vent hood from François & Co. are the unexpected pieces that make a dynamic statement. Homeowner Margaret Sallee says that a photo in The Welcoming House: The Art of Living Graciously by Jane Schwab and Cindy Smith inspired the design and finish choices, particularly the stove. The stone vent hood, with its fluid shape and bands of brushed metal, is a subtle nod to French Country design. “Everything about this kitchen is just soothing and calm,” says Laurie Lehrich, the Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio designer who created the kitchen for the Sallees. Honed finishes and a subtle palette give the kitchen an
22
approachable, inviting feel, says Lehrich, while the stone hood is a fresh contrast to the herringbone tile backsplash. The gold-veined quartzite countertops blend with subtle gray cabinets, brass accents and warm metals that balance each other. A handmade iron chandelier complements the vent hood and is substantial enough for the long island, where the family’s teenagers spend time with friends. A drop-down with a walnut countertop extends the work surface. Beside a fully integrated Sub-Zero refrigerator, Lehrich created a nook with a built-in Miele coffee maker and easyto-reach built-in microwave. Mirrored upper cabinets reflect light and add brightness to the space. “The cabinets became a backdrop,” Lehrich says. “They were supporting actors for the architecture.”

Cathy Kincaid Interiors Great Room Dallas-based interior designer Cathy Kincaid’s goal was to create a young but sophisticated living room with a mix of comfortable furniture, antiques, paisley prints and layers of blue and white. “I decided not to play up the mountain decor but instead softened the room and cooled it down with the color palette,” says Kincaid, who pulled yellow, olive and pink from a favorite Lisa Fine Textiles print. “I also think of blue like a neutral and as a light contrast against the wood paneling.” A framed painted canvas brings color and French provincial flair to the large stone fireplace, while English chairs in an adjacent passageway lend their elegant curves along a wall.

Ann Sherrill Dining Room “It’s a relatively small dining room, so I added some large pieces and bold accessories to make it stand out and feel special,” says Ann Sherrill of Cashiers furniture and accessories shop Rusticks. “For the niche, I chose a colorful, large-scale painting and custom sconces to elevate the space and added fabric panels in a linen scrim.” She also used the same fabric on the huge picture windows to soften them without taking away from the beautiful views. A trestle table made from reclaimed wood is the standout piece in the room. “It has an extra-thick top with imperfections but a smooth, satin finish,” says Sherrill.

Jena Salmon Designs Card Room At the top of the stairs, designer Jena Salmon created a cozy spot for guests to have a predinner cocktail or read. The striking crewel fabric brings the outside colors in, while midcentury chairs give it modern flair.
▼ James Farmer, Inc. Game Room The game room is decidedly masculine but is softened by elements such as ceramics and flowers. Leather chairs with tribal-print pillows sit around bamboo stools grouped together. “I love for small tables to be movable, whether you’re propping up your boots or pulling up to a chair for a great conversation or even a lazy meal by the fire,” says James Farmer. “Movable furniture is key to a socially delightful room.”

C. Weaks Interiors Covered Porch “This large covered porch is the kind that you literally want to spend all your time on,” says designer Carole Weaks. “We designed the furniture layout and chose all the fabrics with that in mind.” The welcoming space includes upholstered pieces for the center of the room, where there is less likelihood of rain blowing in. “We envisioned the homeowners taking long naps on the sofa and stretching out in the comfortable chairs to read or just look at the beautiful view,” she says. For added interest, she included rustic baskets by Matt Tommey and a lively painting over the mantel by Sergiy Hai that reflects the colors in the room. 29

2/29/16 9:03 AM
Gilstrap Edwards Guest House Bedroom For a bedroom in the guest house, designer Gretchen Edwards of Gilstrap Edwards decided to cook up a little “magic” by adding bold fabric panels up to the ceiling. “Those panels help cover some of the dark wood and add excitement and contrast to those walls,” says Edwards. “It was my way of achieving color and pattern without painting or wallpapering the room.” For the furniture, eclectic pieces like white vintage bamboo-style headboards pair with clean-lined styles. A beautiful abstract painting by Atlanta artist Jordan Johnson adds color to the paneled walls and ties in with the fabrics and other details.
▲ Mark Williams Design Associates Guest House Master Designer Niki Papadopoulos of Mark Williams Design Associates wanted this room “to incorporate elements that were both rustic and sleek, traditional and modern,” she says. The navy, white and burnished gold palette imparts a glamorous vibe. The showstopping wall consists of a resin product that has been handtroweled for a marbled effect. “These panels, both in resin and upholstered, were created specifically to fit wall-to-wall and make a dramatic statement,” she says. 30

McLaurin Interiors Guest House Sitting Room “The color palette is based on a beautiful hand-printed English country cotton in blue, charcoal and oyster,” says designer Maria McLaurin. “The furniture was selected to accommodate guests while waiting to join their hosts or relaxing in the evening.” Wing chairs, a fireplace bench and several small tables provide seating options, while a 40-inch vintage mirror and large chandelier, both suspended on chains, bring a wow factor. 31

Huff Harrington Home Guest Bedroom “We’re unabashed Francophiles at Huff Harrington Home,” says co-owner Meg Harrington, “so we knew we wanted to incorporate a soupçon of Parisian glam into the overall design of the room.” The high ceiling allowed for large-scale pieces. “Our in-house designers Sam Jones and Martha Douglas Peyton couldn’t wait to have some fun with the headboard,” says Ann Huff. “We wanted to keep the richness of the room but also wanted to balance some of the lines of the furniture with something soft and touchable. And the French starburst mirror hanging over it was a mission in last-minute spontaneity.” The design team added plenty of textural contrast with velvet pillows and an irresistible fur throw on the bed.
BB Heath and Associates Upstairs Office Lauren Heath of BB Heath and Associates wanted the upstairs study to feel serene and contemporary. She started by painting the nondescript dark wood paneling in a white lacquer. “The high gloss allows a wonderful reflectivity of light,” says Heath. “The Oushak rug dictated the rest of the color palette—cantaloupe as the accent color while playing with black, white and ivory.” 32

Eight more residences (from 2,200 to 4,200 square feet) will be completed this fall, and the remainder in 2017. Pearce Scott Architects designed the two- to four-bedroom residences with traditional clapboard architecture that honors Lowcountry architecture with shuttered windows, brick walkways and chimneys, and raised-seam metal roofs. Interiors include large communal spaces, sitting rooms with fireplaces and heart pine floors. AROUND TOWN WITH
Naomi Von Habersham AT SOME POINT THIS YEAR, many of us will feel the urge to get away from it all. I typically pine for a vacation when the winter doldrums kick in, but others might prefer to escape during summer, when Atlanta’s heat and humidity can become pretty unbearable. But what do you do when a splashy trip isn’t feasible? Is it possible to get away from it all without actually getting away from Atlanta? The answer, thankfully, is yes! I learned this lesson last year, when for the first time in decades, I did not make my annual pilgrimage to Argentina. I’ll spare you the sob story, but suffice it to say, a trip to South America—or anywhere else, for that matter—was simply not in the cards for me. Rather than mope around the house, I decided to spend my vacation time exploring Atlanta and its environs, doing the things I never seem to have the time to do. First up on my staycation was a day spent at the Atlanta History Center. Many of us often go to events there, but have you actually toured the Swan House or the Tullie Smith House? I highly recommend doing so, and the added bonus is that after all of that touring, you can have an old-fashioned, Southern ladies lunch at the Swan Coach House, complete with their yummy frozen fruit salad. Another day, I drove to LaGrange and visited Hills and Dales, the 1916 house that Neel Reid designed for the Callaway family. Walking through that stately house reminded me not only of a more gracious time but also of the need to protect these old houses, which, sadly, are being destroyed all too frequently. Of course, there are so many other local spots you could visit on your stay-at-home getaway. When was the last time you had drinks at The Sun Dial? Or what about a nighttime ride on the SkyView Ferris wheel? You see, an escape doesn’t have to involve a faraway destination. Sometimes, it’s only a brief car ride away.

When developer Stan Benecki and his wife, interior designer Melanie Turner, are at the helm of a design project, expect the unexpected. This Rosemary Beach getaway is the latest in a series of luxury turnkey properties designed, built and furnished by the designminded duo on Florida’s idyllic stretch of beaches along Highway 30A. “Turnkey homebuilding is making waves in luxury markets from Los Angeles to the Hamptons, and we believe it’s the way to go because it’s so simple,” says Benecki. Fully loaded with every amenity imaginable, from furniture and fine linens to silverware and soaps, the newly built and designed homes are move-in ready—requiring little more than packing and transporting clothes. “This process really speaks to buyers looking for something hassle-free,” Benecki explains. 45

“Imagine the process of building a luxury home. By the time you’ve dealt with an architect, builder, decorator and landscape designer, multiple years can easily pass by. We cut all that out by presenting a beautiful home that’s ready to move into tomorrow.” Employing her signature effortless elegance, Turner matched the home’s breezy beach setting by introducing organic textures and colors that create a sense of comfortable luxury. Deep linen sofas in the living room offer a cozy place to nap, while cushioned raffia chairs in the adjacent dining area provide the perfect spot for a game of cards around the table. Overhead, reclaimed oak beams play up the home’s earthy charm, as do the gleaming Venetian plaster walls. The three-story abode also serves as a gallery for collections of beautiful artwork and rare objects that Turner purchases during her travels and 47

stows away for future projects. She found the large vessels displayed in the stair hall, for instance, in Asia, where artisans submerge them deep underwater so that they become covered with barnacles. “I love to buy unique items knowing that I’ll eventually find them the perfect home,” says Turner. Because she and her husband are constantly explosed to design, Turner wasn’t afraid to make a splash in select spaces such as the pool mudroom, which she wrapped in a cool blue from top to bottom. Upstairs, an all-pink bedroom is equally as eye catching. Their whimsy is a departure from the home’s predominantly neutral color palette and thus was met with some apprehension by real estate agents and even Benecki himself, but Turner was steadfast. “I like having little surprises in a home,” she says. “You have the calm, the effortless and then the wow.” The risk certainly paid off. The home sold to an Atlanta couple after a few short weeks on the market. As for this designing duo, you can find them working on their next turnkey project along 30A. See Resources, Back of Book. 48

THIS IS NO ORDINARY MOUNTAIN COTTAGE. Light, bright and modern to boot, there’s nary a flannel pillow or knotty pine table in sight—and that was exactly the plan. “We didn’t want our grandmother’s mountain house,” says homeowner Bonneau Ansley, founder of Ansley Atlanta Real Estate and Ansley Hewett Custom Homes. Located in Cashiers’ covetable Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club, he and wife Jennifer had something quite different in mind for their family vacation home. “Ultimately,” says Bonneau, “we were seeking something modern that incorporated our natural surroundings in a very understated manner. ‘Mountain modern’ was our vision.” To bring this concept to life, the couple turned to South of Market proprietor Kay Douglass, giving her free rein over all decorating decisions. She opted for a whimsical approach that played with scale and incorporated tactile textures. “Second homes afford you the opportunity to stretch your imagination and take some chances,” says Douglass. For instance, in lieu of a solid wall to separate the home’s dining nook and kitchen, Douglass and design associate Dixie Peeples specified a sleek six-pane
56
window. “We love the sense of magic it creates. It reminds us of someone peering in through the window of a Parisian bakery,” says Douglass. Her penchant for winsome details is also evident in the color scheme. Strategic splashes of color infuse the cottage with character and help soften the home’s modern verve. The main living level took its color cue from a vintage red lacquer coffee table that serves as the centerpiece of the

family room. This room is also where the Ansleys’ modern directive began to take shape. On either end of the fireplace, Douglass nixed the traditional idea of bookshelves in favor of a simple barnwood backdrop to keep it clutter-free. She outfitted the rest of the space with clean-lined furnishings arranged in a symmetrical fashion, a design formula that she used throughout the home—bedrooms and baths included. Wooden beams and plank walls also provide a common thread and give a nod to the cottage’s rustic setting. With entertaining also top of mind for the Ansleys, Douglass maximized space at every opportunity. A mix of seating options in the dining room allows up to 12 place settings at the table, while 58
folding glass doors in the family room double the entertaining space by creating a seamless transition to the covered porch. “Giving them the ability to entertain a large group of people at one time was really important,” says Douglass. And this didn’t exclude the home’s youngest occupants, daughter Blakely and son Beau. Despite their bedrooms’ small footprints, Douglass creatively configured multiple beds into the rooms’ layouts, allowing the children to host sleepovers for cousins and friends. “This cottage has many great elements of surprise,” says Douglass. “And that’s certainly what a vacation home should be—happy and unexpected.” See Resources, Back of Book.

Lake Minded AN ATLANTA FAMILY ANSWERS THE CALL OF LAKE BURTON IN THIS RELAXING RETREAT BY SPITZMILLER & NORRIS AND TERI DUFFY. WRITTEN BY Sejal

The sitting porch in this lakeside home designed by architecture firm Spitzmiller & Norris and interior designer Teri Duffy boasts prime views of Lake Burton. A warm color palette complements the tranquil setting while durable Sunbrella fabrics require minimal maintenance. The sofa and chairs are Lee Industries. W WHEN ARCHITECTS RICK SPITZMILLER and Robert Norris were approached by their longtime clients to design a vacation home on the shores of Lake Burton, they asked the couple to do one thing: think outside the box. “Because this house was going to be a retreat, they had the freedom to dream up things that wouldn’t necessarily suit their in-town home,” explains Spitzmiller. In the very early design stages—a collaborative process that included interior designer Teri Duffy and builder Chris Clay—one architectural style continued to pique the homeowners’ interest. Inspired by the couple’s response to early 20th-century East Coast architecture, Spitzmiller and Norris fashioned their lake house with clean lines, ample windows and deep exterior overhangs. The duo’s floor plan also incorporated both marvelous open spaces for gathering and plenty of nooks and crannies for quiet moments. While the open-concept living level provides easy flow, varying beam configurations and ceiling heights subtly delineate each room. Even a transition in flooring, from hardwood to stone, not only adds visual impact but also gives the connecting kitchen, dining room and living room individual flair. “The changes in materials and patterns echo the geometry of each room,” says Spitzmiller. “There’s a relatedness, but different arrangements were chosen to help give particular spaces distinction.” To mirror the home’s architectural sophistication, Duffy took a soft and serene approach with the aesthetics. “This is a big house, so we had to be mindful of making it feel comfortable and approachable,” she says. The home’s warm, neutral color palette was selected with relaxation in mind, and practical fabrics play up an easygoing sensibility appropriate for lake life. Window treatments were forgone in the living and dining room so as not to distract from the views. The home’s lake setting reverberates deeply in its design, from the use of indigenous materials—notably in the form of a custom stone niche in the kitchen—to the nautical charm of the son’s bedroom. Working with Clay, Duffy designed a floating bed frame that’s seemingly suspended from the ceiling by 4-inch rope. For all the home’s interior appeal, the exterior commands equal attention. Great care was taken to ensure that the home would appear to have grown out of its site as opposed to merely sitting on top of it. And with a bevy of outdoor spaces—from bedroom balconies to the sitting porch—from which to enjoy Lake Burton’s glistening waters, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

YEARS IN THE MAKING, A ONCE-DATED OCEANFRONT COTTAGE ON SEA ISLAND IS TRANSFORMED INTO A MINIMALISTCHIC GETAWAY.

SWEPT AWAY BY THE CHARMS of Sea Island, Georgia, the late Jae Portman, an avid sailing enthusiast and son of international architect John C. Portman Jr., surprised his family in 1995 with the purchase of a 1950s ranch-style cottage. His wife, Barbara, was thrilled with the oceanfront locale and, despite the home’s dated interiors, the couple found themselves too busy enjoying the island’s warm summers and ocean breezes to find time for renovations. Twenty years later, Barbara, now spending most of her days in New York City, finally decided it was time to commence the much-needed refresh discussed so long ago. To get the ball rolling, she reached out to Rob Kjellander, whose company Cottage Concierge was charged with the maintenance of her beloved vacation home. Knowing that a complete interior overhaul was required, Kjellander tapped Chad Goehring of architectural firm Harrison Design to remedy the home’s choppy configurations. Goehring transformed the mazelike layout into an airy, open-concept floor plan by eliminating walls and absorbing square footage from unnecessary closets. “With older homes, it’s very typical to have all these closets, so we had to figure out ways to clean up the clutter,” says Goehring.

After pinning several pictures of modern Shaker-style cabinets, Kjellander commissioned the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry from Woodcrafters of St. Simons. Durable indoor/outdoor fabrics on the sofa and chairs from Bungalow Classic keep cleanup a breeze. The home’s existing wood-paneled walls were repurposed into ceiling beams by David Page Custom Trim & Millwork. The planters and greenery were provided by The Vine. The rug is from Myers Carpet.
“Chad helped us transform the original Francis Abreu plan from 1953,” says Kjellander. “Abreu was personally picked by the founders of Sea Island to design residences on the island, and he was the leading architect of his time. Recognizing that history—and reinterpreting it for today’s living—was important to us.” Today, the home’s front entryway leads to a spacious foyer that gives way to a well-appointed chef’s kitchen to one side and a combination living-and-dining area to the other. Both were originally cramped individual spaces closed off from one another by wood-paneled walls made of wormy chestnut. Instead of tossing the removed panels, Kjellander enlisted a local carpenter to transform them into beams that now grace the common areas’ raised ceilings. To complete the transformation, Barbara called on her niece, Atlanta-based interior designer Alissa Portman Beard of Alissa Portman Interiors. Both women share a love of clean, modern lines, a style that serves the beach home well. “My vision was to create a very understated look,” says Beard. “I wanted to have a sense of tranquility wash over you once you stepped inside.” Beard employed a strict palette of whites, sandy taupes and deep blues, employing a minimalist-chic approach to allow the once blocked ocean views to shine. “As a team, we were able to create a brand-new house; yet not a single exterior wall was moved, nor did we raise the roof,” says Goehring. “The home feels a billion times brighter and livelier than it ever was. It now looks like the fresh beach cottage it was always meant to be.” See Resources, Back of Book. 74

THE PERFECT POOL WHEN TEMPERATURES RISE IN ATLANTA, THERE’S ONLY ONE PLACE TO RETREAT FROM THE HEAT—POOLSIDE.
IN ATLANTA, POOLS ARE AS ESSENTIAL TO US AS, SAY, AIR CONDITIONING OR SWEET TEA. Sure, the weather can be idyllic certain key times of the year (like early March and late November) when snow mounts in other parts of the country, but the sweltering months—cue the hairraising humidity, the unsubtle lip sweats—let’s just say we endure our fair share of “dog days.” I started out doing interior design work in New York, so I was not responsible for designing a pool until I worked on a house in the Hamptons. Unfortunately, the client’s Shakerlike vision was not quite to my taste, involving tile in a shade I can only describe as sludge. Then I landed a client in Ala86
bama, who, of course, shared my vision for pool as cool-down sanctuary. We picked out Waverly Santa Maria Desert Flower fabric and set out to create a pool surrounded by vibrant color, with outdoor sofas from Ohana adorned with bright, coordinating pillows. We could hardly resist adding twinkling white lights and a multitude of planters and palm trees. Years later, I was looking for a house in Jamaica with my brother. As we negotiated, we realized that we were prepared to forgo almost anything—even new kitchen or bath—for the perfect pool. Heck, with the right furniture and fabrics we could just live outdoors; it would certainly help us work on our tans. Does Jamaica have good dermatologists?
ERICA GEORGE DINES
The showstopping pool of this Shutze Award-winning abode—designed by architect D. Stanley Dixon—is a study in symmetry, aligning perfectly with the home’s center axis.

Through the decades, The Atlanta Steeplechase has donated millions to local beneficiaries. We are thrilled that the event will again benefit Bert’s Big Adventure. Bert’s Big Adventure families from all past trips were invited in 2015 to gather together for the spring Reunion Adventure at the 50th Anniversary of the Atlanta Steeplechase. Nearly 300 Bert’s Big Adventure family members joined in on the day of fun, along with staff and volunteers. Guests enjoyed a full day of horse racing, Jack Russell terrier races, camel rides, face painting as well as seeing old friends and meeting new ones . Established in 2002, Bert’s Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. To qualify for Bert’s Big Adventure, children must be between the ages of 5 and 12, live in “The Bert Show” radio listening area, prove financial need and have never been to Walt Disney World®. Following the annual trip, Bert’s Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. The trip and programs create a community of families that establish lasting friendships with others facing similar challenges. Bert’s Big Adventure will host its annual spring Reunion Adventure for the families on race day. The partnership with Bert’s Big Adventure is a wonderful opportunity for the Atlanta Steeplechase to give back to the community. Knowing that our organization can make a significant contribution in the lives of the children involved with Bert’s Big Adventure is an enormous incentive to maximize our charitable contributions. The Atlanta Steeplechase welcomes Bert’s Big Adventure as a partner and looks forward to a long lasting relationship. bertsbigadventure.org

SOUTHEASTERN DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE & GARDENS
The 2016 Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens, produced by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine, is the ultimate interpretation of gracious living and quintessential Southern style. With honorary chair Suzanne Kasler at the helm, this inaugural showhouse will feature the creativity of nearly 30 top design industry talents from across the Southeast. The exquisite 22,000-square-foot English manor–style house is situated on a 3.5-acre lot that also includes a 2,800-squarefoot pool house, an infinity-edge pool and a tennis court. The landscaped grounds sprawl nearly 10,000 square feet, while designed patios and outdoor living spaces span almost 4,000 square feet. Despite its size and formal architectural envelope (the exterior is cast stone and stone veneer and boasts a slate roof), the new home will envelop visitors as soon as they walk through the front door thanks to a pair of arched staircases on either side of the 32-foot-tall entry foyer. Other design details include a two-story great room with 28-foot-tall ceilings, a lofty master suite with separate closets for him and her, and a terrace level with 12-foot-tall ceilings and a spa. The home features five bedrooms and nine baths over three finished floors. Spectacular in its architecture, materials and details, the house nonetheless retains its sense of Southern hospitality—and we welcome you to spend some time exploring this masterpiece.

About the
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Raised on a hunting farm in middle Georgia, JOE A. GAYLE gained a knowledge of and respect for the land at an early age. Gayle’s designs have won numerous awards, including 15 at the state level and two on a national level, and his projects have been featured in Southern Accents, Southern Homes, Money and American Nurseryman, as well as on national television shows such as the Today show and Good Morning America. He has a unique ability to manage multiple projects for a diverse group of clients such as The City Bank of New York, the estates of Kenny Rogers and the 13,000-acre summer retreat of Bernard Schneider. Gayle’s extensive experience in working with builders, developers and homeowners provides clients with a better quality of life while increasing investment value.
At Paradise Builders, we believe every detail matters. From vision to construction, our goal is simple: build the best home possible. No matter the size, the quality per square foot is never diminished. Our president, BILL PRESTON, considers each project an “artistic endeavor.” For decades as a CPA and entertainment/ sports business manager, Bill managed the construction of dream homes for his high- net-worth clientele. In 2002, he decided to make his passion for residential development his main focus. “I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished in our first 14 years of operation and feel that we are just hitting our stride,” he says. “I am constantly amazed at the quality of design and construction that our peers are developing in the Atlanta metro area, both on a residential and commercial level. We are proud to be part of it. The 2016 Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens is a wonderful example of our goal to make each home a personal paradise.”
