2014
WELCOME
Honoring our Past On behalf of the Atlantic 10 Conference, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 2014 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Legends Celebrations. 2013 marked the first in an annual series of this commemorative souvenir program.
Each 2014 Legend reflects on one lesson learned during their collegiate playing and/ or coaching career. You can find a list of the 2013 Legends on page 31 of this program.
This distinguished group of 26 individuals — 13 men and 13 women selected by their alumni institution — is made up of former players, head coaches, All-Americans, Hall of Famers, Players of the Year, and National Champions.
Each legend played a role in building the success of their institution’s basketball programs and served as leaders on a national stage. Their contributions also built the foundation of what is today’s Atlantic 10 Conference through their hard work, dedication and commitment. Each of them have been and continue to be a credit to their alma maters and are deserving of this honor. Please join me in offering congratulations to each of our 2014 Legends.
