DEAR PATRONS Welcome BACK to Broadway the AT&T Performing Arts Center and to see What the Constitution Means to Me. We are thrilled to present Heidi Schreck’s play, which was nominated for a Tony Award® for Best Play and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Schreck’s boundary-breaking play breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generations of Americans. And the Winspear Opera House is the only place in Texas to see this amazing work. Here at the Center, safety is first and foremost, so we have strict COVID-19 protocols in place to protect our patrons, artists, volunteers and staff. Most importantly – masks! Unless you are consuming concessions, we require everyone to wear a mask anywhere in our venues. And we ask everyone to be patient with one another and give each other some social-distancing space! Next up at the Center, Hadestown, winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards® including Best Musical, followed by Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Waitress, Oklahoma!, and the comedy hit The Prom. None of these shows have been seen in the Winspear Opera House before, and most are touring for the very first time. And the AT&T Performing Arts Center is more than Broadway. It’s where you can find some of the best shows in Dallas. We present concerts, like the upcoming Pink Martini featuring China Forbes on January 13th; comedy, like Mystery Science Theater 3000 LIVE! on January 15th; and speakers, like Neil deGrasse Tyson on January 16th. We also present the finest dance companies in the world, with our partner TITAS/Dance Unbound, like Ballet Hispánico next week. We also provide stages for our five esteemed resident companies: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater. And through our Elevator Project we present the best of new and emerging Dallas arts groups. We are thrilled to continue safely providing one of the best live entertainment experiences in North Texas. No matter what kind of live performing arts you prefer, you’ll find many reasons to visit our campus again soon. Thank you again for coming back! The AT&T Performing Arts Center – it’s Yours to Discover!

Corporate Circle

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

LIGHTWARE LABS

The Last month, visitors to the campus of the AT&T Performing Arts Center enjoyed an amazing holiday surprise featuring the expertise of Corporate Circle Member, Lightware Labs. Projection mapping specialist Camron Ware created the month long visual wonderland designed for celebrating with the whole family including a sidewalk maze made of candy canes, a light show of projections on a giant present, and an oversized holiday wreath that featured video of performing arts from across the Arts District. The projections and the more than 550,000 LED tree lights made for a festive outdoor environment, and paired with pop-up performers throughout the month, delighted campus visitors and patrons alike. This year also marked the full return of the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Reliant Lights Your Holidays, a free concert, campus-wide lighting, and fireworks event that attracts thousands to its downtown campus in the Dallas Arts District. To make the event even more memorable, the Center team worked with Lightware labs for a full-building projection mapping of the Wyly Theatre which ran in conjunction with fireworks from the Wyly rooftop. It was an amazing way to kickoff the holidays thanks to Reliant, the David M. Crowley Foundation, and our friends at Lightware Labs! For more information on Lightware Labs and projection mapping for schools, theaters, parties, events, marketing, and much more, please visit www.lightwarelabs.com .
