Directors Note I love women and I am loved by women fiercely. I was nurtured and raised by two of the most powerful resilient women, my mother and sister. I am who I am because of the women in my life and because of that, it is an honor to bring BRIDGES: SISTERS OF SALEM to you. We here at Flexible Grey Theatre Company feel it is our duty to uplift and give space to the marginalized voices of OUR community: LGBTQ+, BIPOC and now women and GNC/femme identifying people. Not for diversity’s sake or to keep social media warriors from tearing our company apart but because we care and because we know what it’s like to be ignored, disregarded or even abused. In spite of everything we go through, being a woman is magical and all encompassing and our show and these stories reflect just that. Enjoy the show. Whitney LaTrice Coulter

Colby Calhoun (they/she) is a dance theatre artist living and working in Dallas, TX and they are thrilled to be making their Flexible Grey debut in this show! As a nonbinary biracial beauty Colby’s work experiments with understanding the complicated intersections of identity and playing with, and exploring, the social “norms” that impose Opression instead of Expression. Colby is grateful to have performed with Bishop Arts Theatre Center in LOVING AND LOVING, The Fire-
house Theatre in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, and Uptown Players in A CHORUS LINE. Additionally Colby is continually blessed to work as a collaborator with Very Good Dance Theatre and wants to thank their collaborators, friends, and 91 plant babies at home for the dedicated love and support! Some of her favorite stage roles include Kate in LET IT BE ME (Theatre Britain), Polly in THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW (Dallas Children’s Theatre), and Fritzie in CABARET (Grapevine Runway). Marilyn’s recent visit to Salem, MA provided insight into the dangers of a patriarchal system fueled by fearmongering and how the witch hunt never stopped - it just changed its rhetoric. She would like to thank our incredible company and fearless director for putting together this show that gives the voice back to our modern witches. Caitlin Whitley is delighted to be back and working with Flexible Grey after last being seen as Nicold in their production of Cherry Muffins: A DEMON PLAY. as: Lily & Joan, Theatre Britain, MainStage Irving Las Colinas, Rotunda Theatre, and Runway Theatre to name a few. The Elevator Project and ATTPAC In 2014, the AT&T Performing Arts Center created the Elevator Project to provide small, emerging and historically marginalized arts organizations and artists with a performance platform in the Dallas Arts District. It has evolved into an exciting, curated season of work stretching across genres,
with the projects chosen through a competitive process by a panel of arts professionals and advocates. The Elevator Project is made possible by the support and partnership of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. The Center encourages small arts organizations and individual artists to take this opportunity to excite, entertain, challenge and stimulate.
