Dear Friend, Hello from El Salvador! All is well here. We just hosted a team of 18 college students from Salem Heights Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. They were well prepared with dramas and testimonies, hard-working from daylight to dark, flexible by sleeping on the floor or taking really cold baths and a lot of fun to be with. Many of them spoke Spanish and all of them really "connected with," "loved on" and enocuraged out students here. In fact, a real revival broke out among the youth in Chinameca. And by the end of their trip, some 300 youth were saved!!!
In short, this group: (1) Shared the gospel in 5 different school assemblies. Yes, we can openly share the gospel, give out Bibles and even offer a public invitation in the public schools.

(2) Led in 3 large, regional youth rallies involving 26 different churches from our family of churches in the East.

The Lord really used this team! We saw students saved at every school and at every rally. Troy Hobson is the Youth-College Director from Salem Heights, Laurel, Mississippi, and did a great job getting the team ready. Thanks, guys, for a job well done.
TEAMS Teams serve here somewhat like a visiting evangelist in a church there. They are able to come alongside the local church and help bring in the harvest from which the church has already been cultivating. The people here in El Salvador are always interested and attentive to North Americans. They make an extra effort to support an event whenever "gringos" are present. We have 8 more teams scheduled for this year! We pray that the Lord will bless each of them.
PLEASE PRAY FOR US AS WE CONTINUE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL IN SCHOOLS EVERY WEEK HERE IN EL SALVADOR. Also, please pray for: (1) Daniel and the Radio Esperanza staff in Chinameca. (2) Salvador, the teachers and students at the Bible Institute in Chinameca - I Timothy 2:2 (3) Someone to lead the Bible Institute in Mejicanos (4) The Building Projects in: - Mejicanos... we continue remodeling the old warehouse - Montreal... we have a lot and need to relocate and build - Los Luna... we just purchased 3 acres and will soon build - Nueva Guadelupe... we need to expand the music School - La Libertad... we need to relocate to a larger place - Antiguo Cuscatlan... needs new sunday school rooms - Nuevo Walcho... locate a lot and build

(5) The Lord of the Harvest to call more workers, pastors and missionaries to start new churches throughout El Salvador.
