At the junction of Moskof Street and the Republic Square of Thessaloniki, there is a time section, where different historical phases coexist-overlap, at least spatially, and through the years they have created a level of information and rewrites, likening the logic of palimpsest. We found that the city wall, the ancient findings on site, which have been recently discovered, the preserved building itself and the adjacency with contemporary buildings create turbulent conditions. However, each of these historical fragments is trying to maintain its limits.The way, in which these historical fragments coexist, proves, what the collective memory evaluates as significant.
