With soft and resiliant wool fibres, these skins from the flocks of sheep pastured on the lush grasslands of New Zealand are hand selected and expertly matched to create natural products of textural beauty and style.

Icelandic Sheepskin Isländisches Schaffell Sourced from the sheep flocks of Iceland these sheepskins are truly unique. They have been bred to withstand the harsh climate found in Iceland and exhibit an unusually long dual fibre fleece. Fibre by Auskin offers these in a range of natural black, brown & grey colours in a wide variety of naturally ocurring patterns. A selection of dyed colours is also available. Our range of Icelandic products includes natural shaped rugs, cushions & seat plates.

The design team at Fibre by Auskin have supplemented our core range of New Zealand sheepskins, with a selection of rare and unusual natural coloured sheepskins sourced from around the world. Each of these sheepskin types have distinctive natural wool fibres and colours, resulting from the unique characteristics of each sheep breed and the environment in which they are raised.

Alpaca Alpaka
Fibre by Auskin source an exquisite range of alpaca skin and woven products, hand made by artisan families from the Islands of Lake Titicaca in South America. Because Alpaca are raised on pasture high in the Andes and have to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations, their fibres are extremely fine, soft, strong and naturally water repellent. The unique hollow core fibre structure results in products that are light weight, warm and beautifully soft to touch. Our range covers 100% woven alpaca throws, suri alpaca skin cushions and design rugs.
Fibre by Auskin bietet eine exquisite Auswahl an Alpakafellund Wollprodukten, die von Handwerksfamilien von den Inseln des Titicaca Sees in Südamerika handgefertigt werden. Fibre by Auskin home collections are taken to a whole new level with cowhide leather. A beautiful range of cushions and poufs handmade in India have been added to our natural shaped hides from South America. These have been selected to mix and match with our more textural sheepskin and alpaca furnishings to create a wide range of natural fibre interior styles. As with other natural materials, colours in cowhide leather will vary slightly from product to product.
