ARE YOU A NEW MEMBER?

[

YOU’RE ALREADY DOING ONE OF THEM

[

Do these three things by next week.

Now that you’ve joined the Austin Apartment Association, you next step is to GET CONNECTED. Here are three things you can do in the next few days to start on your membership journey.

SET UP YOUR ONLINE MEMBER PORTAL. Your member account allows you to view and pay invoices, see your account balance, make changes to the company/property profile (add/remove/edit employee information), access registration & member rates for seminars and events, and view current seminar and event registrations for your company. Set up your portal here: austinaptassoc.com/member-portal-instructions.

FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ASSOCIATION AND INDUSTRY ISSUES. Show your customers and supervisors you know what you’re talking about by reading up on the latest trends, legislative happenings and industry news in our association magazines: the AAA WINDOW, the Texas Apartment Association’s Apartments and the National Apartment Association’s UNITS. As a member of AAA, you are automatically a member of TAA and NAA. View the state and national publications at TAA.org and NAAHQ.org. (You will need a member login to view the TAA publication, which you may create at TAA.org.)

DO SOME HOUSEKEEPING. Make the austinaptassoc.com domain a safe sender in your email settings. Otherwise, how will you be able to read our weekly association emails such as the Friday Facts, The Know and Networking & Events? These emails are the primary way we communicate with you, so put us on your whitelist so you won’t miss out on important event, education and association information. Speaking of industry and association news, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter! See pics, get updates on association info and read about industry hot topics through our social media accounts

Want a little more to do? Add The Assocaition staff into your contacts. Feel free to reach out to any staff member with your questions at 512-323-0990 or by email.
