Assessing Community Health and Wellness Needs: Together, We Can Make a Greater Impact A little over a month ago more than 50 east Orlando community leaders met in the Avalon Park Pavilion to connect and collaborate on like-minded initiatives. The purpose of this inaugural meeting was to ignite open and collaborative dialogue with business owners, government officials, non-profit and faith-based leaders, schools and activists, to discuss the needs and initiatives in East Orlando. This meeting was the first of a multi-faceted effort to learn and address the diverse needs in our community. After a lengthy discussion, the group determined that the next step is to hear from the community!

To ensure we meet a holistic health and wellness aspiration approach, we are conducting a comprehensive health assessment in the form of a brief digital survey. And who better guide this process than the community members themselves? We want to hear directly from you!
