wheble pointe shoes BRAND INTRODUCTION
color CHOICES
OVERVIEW The Wheble Pointe Shoe Brand Portfolio provides the foundation for consistent application of the Wheble brand across all media, including merchandising, online, promotions, and advertising. Follow these guidelines in all expressions of the Wheble brand.
coral: As per request of the founder. A favorite color and very applicable to the feminine product.
light yellow: Another neutral choice to soften the white with the coral and blue.
“In character, in manners, in style; in all things the supreme excellence is simplicity.”
cream: The full color logo needed a neutral background without the harshness of just white.
Wheble’s brand identity is crisp and clean. The significant negative space is most often white, sometimes with a gradient or glow. Negative space can be full color. Vivid, high-resolution video and photographs are essential. In merchandising, images are most often black and white.
keynote COLORS
light blue: Used to complement the coral and to also put a different spin on a usually pink-ridden market.

logo application on BLACK AND WHITE BACKGROUNDS Although the full-color version on a cream and pastel background is the preferred usage, there may be instances when the logo must appear on a black and white background. The logo may appear on a black and white background as long as it retains maximum contrast for definition. Colors from this color palette are preferred.

The tagline for Wheble Pointe Shoes is “Spontaneous Grace.” This business card actively evokes this phrase by the elegant photographs of the dancers in the city. The pointe shoe logo is displayed in the coral color and adds a fun flare to the dramatic photos. The front side of the card is simple in response to the very active back. The logo’s integrity is still maintained.
It is logical to produce a shoe box for the shoe. This model still continues the “Spontaneous Grace” tagline and makes use of all the keynote colors. Notice the freedom that is depicted in the brushstrokes on the sides of the box.

magazineADVERTISEMENT This magazine advertisement is the culminating product of Wheble’s “Spontaenous Grace” advertising and merchandise. This piece may live out the slogan to the fullest. The words are bold and go with the natural eye-line and the lines of the bridge. The colored pointe shoes/Wheble logos are the focal point in the ad and the only color. Both factors bring emphasis to the marketed product. The Wheble log is still present in the top left and legitimizes the whole ad.
