On our last meeting we discussed a lot of topics, would you agree with the following statements Sue?

“I would like a website with a contemporary feel that is fresh without lots of words but explains clearly the offer to the client. I would like links to other organisations or to people that could enhance my offer.” “I would like to mention the advantage of visual and display communication.”

• Black and white dominant palette with a splash of colour. • Soft focused photos not too hard focused. • Out of focus action shots to be considered. • Honest and Open in form and function.

All copyright issues in terms of content provided, photos supplied etc are validated and approved for commercial usage. Competitor website design is researched and tested for keyword application.

7 d. Roughs

Let’s test this pudding................................ Based on the ‘briefing-criteria’ we will brainstorm 3 ideas for the following;

Branding, logo - we will propose 3 ideas to use as your corporate identity for you to choose from.

Layouts - we will include 3 ideas of re-positioned images, text and animation that will represent the pages of your website. Colour - we will include 3 colour palettes to choose from.

Animations - we will provide you with a choice of 3 storyboarded animations to open your website with.

Fonts - We will provide a choice of 3 families of fonts to choose from to be used as headers, footers, body text, etc.

Navigation - Positioning of navigation, usability, and suggested content areas (pages).

Site-Map - A hierarchical diagram displaying the page connections and additional links to external sites.

On approval of the chosen idea we will design the final website combining all of the selected rough ideas resolved into a professional, finished web solution.

f. Beta Testing

On and on, and on, and on, and on,.............

• We will evaluate the form and function of your website with the correct demographic of services your website is expected to attract.

• A selection of browsers are also to be tested to approve correct viewing of display and design.

• A selection of Operating systems, ie, PC, Mac, Unix, Linux, etc are also to be tested to approve correct display on the afore mentioned Operating Systems.

10 g. Client Proofing

Upon successful testing, we will require your feedback. The website will be viewable for your approval and corrections.

The website is not publically viewable on the world-wide web at this stage.

h. Launch of Website

Five, Four, Three, Two.............................

1. At no cost to you, we will purchase your web-address and web-space for you. Please be aware your web address will be registered for two years. Your web space will be purchased for the standard one year package.

2. For free we will also provide technical assistance for the duration of the year.

3. Again at no cost to you we will implement Keyword and Meta-Tag campaigns in order to raise your websites Google ranking.

4.Monthly statistics of your website visitors activities will be sent to you free of charge compliments of AVMC Studios.

Q: What format should I supply my pictures in?

A: Any format as long as the quality/ resolution is good.

Q: Any legal issues with photos?

A: We cannot use pictures sourced from the internet without permission on your website. All photos have to belong to you or us.

Q: Can I rank 1st in Google?

A: Dedicated businesses exist that specialise in ranking

websites, their services can start from as little as £500 or as much

as tens of thousands of pounds. It will take at least a couple of years on line prescence and a combination of the top marketing strategies to obtain ranking first in google. Nevertheless we will endeavour to

help rank your website as high as possible by using all available online marketing techniques within the means of our existing budget.

This will include Meta Tag inclusion, Key-word descriptors, and daily search engine submissions. We are happy to consult you on ‘free techniques’ that you can use to help promote awareness of

your site and therefore increase even more traffic to your site. Please feel free to contact us for more details at your convenience.

Q: Is it good to show a film?

A: The world wide web as it stands today is a multimedia marvel! The

technology exists to play movies on websites and indeed it is the likes of ‘youtube’ that are forging the way for visual standards of website

design. Today’s web users are expecting to see movies and animation

on most web sites they visit. In short it has become almost compulsory to include some moving image somewhere on your website.

We can negotiate filming, editing and post-production services for you at your convenienece please feel free to contact us for more details.

Alternatively if you provide us with your optimised film ready for web

then we can include this at the roughs stage inclusive of project price

2 19 Now the Work Begins

1. A contract will be drawn up outlining the agreed job description including agreed deadline.

2. On receipt of this Job order and clearance of deposit AVMCStudios will be engaged to design, create and implement the agreed job.

3. We will need all of your selected content that you may have. This may or may not be used in the creation of your website.

“The more content we have to design with the greater range of design choices we can offer you”.

The content can be supplied on DVD or CD-ROM, USB Stick or

combinations. On receipt of these discs and receipt of the 1st part

of the commissions stage we can begin stages b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j of the design process.

4. A third of the way in to the job we will provide you with the work

done so far for your approval, when satisfied we will re-engage with the conclusion of the job.

5. The designing continues for us,.....we don’t sleep.....a lot....... work continues.........:)

6. Throughout the rest of the contract we are obliged to show you the progression of the work at your request.

7. Three days before the deadline we will have a last chance to make amendments, as long as

not too serious at this penultimate stage.

8. The launch of your website will be at the date specified in the contract/Job Order.

9. Marketing & Ranking services will commence upon clearance of final balance.

10. On a monthly basis AVMCStudios will provide you with valuable statistics about your potential

customers who are surfing your site.
