Upgrade Before installing avrion’s CRM offering the company had an older CRM system in place but after reassessing its requirements, opted to upgrade in order to keep better track of its contacts. Within the CRM system, which is used by six members of the sales team, every single meaningful contact is logged and all communications are stored against the contact, enabling a complete history for every client, prospect and supplier. Data stored includes emails (both incoming and outgoing); quotes; details of attendees at exhibitions and other events; and enquiries from the company website (www.endecotts.com) and from other contact routes.

Access all areas “It’s great being able to access all the information from one central repository,” says Wayne Mar. “We also use it to do email shots by different criteria, for example by country or by source. The profiling for mailing feature is really useful. We can also now do monthly bulletins to our contacts – something we were unable to achieve before. Plus,” adds Wayne, “staff have found the system very easy to use.”

Nice and easy And, in contrast to the glitches and difficulties frequently encountered with new IT installations, the new implementation, carried out by avrion, could not have been simpler, says Wayne. “The implementation went very well. We have only needed help from avrion on a couple of occasions. One time they explained it to me over the phone and the other time they took control of the mouse remotely and sorted the situation out for me. With avrion things get sorted out within a couple of mouse clicks. It has been very professional on all sides.”
