W orking in Partnership Orion Group used an early version of a CRM database to record names and addresses. As the company grew, it needed to upgrade its CRM system and looked into a number of alternative packages to establish how they would benefit the company. One of their key requirements was seamless access between office and remote working locations, in particular to allow the sales director to access the system at any time. They found the information they needed on avrion’s website and invited the avrion team to discuss a solution that would be right for their needs. Greater Efficiencies and Business Gains Office Administrator Angela Funnell has seen many benefits since the upgrade. Sales opportunities are tracked much more efficiently than before and the follow up process now works. An unexpected benefit for Orion Group has been the ability to send bulk emails and mail merges from within the system, something that the company could not do before. The CRM solution has also given Orion Group greater clarity when producing reports. Prior to the solution, the company entered information into three different spreadsheets. Avrion created a bespoke solution by building unique fields in the CRM solution which made the process significantly easier. Now the information is only entered once, while the different reports are printed at the touch of a button. This new feature leaves less room for inaccuracies as well as being a much more efficient use of time. The new CRM solution added another string to Orion Group’s bow when pitching for new business. The ability to track all data has already played a major part in winning new contracts.
