January 24, 2013 Letter of Commendation Good morning : Recently it was our privilege to host the American Veterans’ Traveling Tribute to our admission-free American Heroes Air Show on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Fort Myers, Florida. The AVTT Cost of Freedom Tribute with their scale-replica of the iconic Vietnam Memorial Wall provided our event with an emotional center-piece for a moving Naturalization Ceremony hosted by our partners with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services team In addition to the go-fast, high-tech helicopters the AVTT team provided a moving experience for the veterans and spouse of veterans and serving military from the Southwest Florida community. We’d like to commend and recognize the AVTT event team that was with us during every step of the complex event process. The AVTT site team of John Barron and Preston Fritz provided highly knowledgeable supervision of the volunteers along with an even temperament and professional demeanor our volunteers clearly appreciated. The AVTT team’s combined ability to asses shifting circumstances and make ad-hoc decisions during the entire event delivers a fast learning style which succeeds with emerging teams and pop-up challenges. Additionally, I believe the communication skills of the AVTT team bear special comment. John and Preston consistently succeeded in communicating with our SW Florida groups of volunteers and associates who are highly diverse in background, age and cultures. Your team’s clarity of expression and patience with questions were all cornerstones to a great experience for our event volunteers who reflected well on your organization and our event. I also believe it is important to note the high level of professional communication during our pre-event logistics and planning – activities that set the foundation for a successful event. Often working months in advance of the event and across myriad time zones communication is a challenge but we found the entire AVTT office team consistently delivered a high level of responsiveness to our needs and attention to event details. On behalf of the entire American Heroes Aviation Network team we congratulate the AVTT team on another success with the American Heroes Air Show and we robustly recommend their operation. Best regards,
James D. Paules Jr, President – Founder American Heroes Aviation Network
