Recipients and their guests will tour Gainesville area. 1:30 p.m. -- Several Recipients will address area students at Gainesville High School -students only. Recipients and guests will attend a welcome dinner to close the day's activities. Thursday, April 7:

9:30-11:30 a.m. -- Recipients will address students at NCTC Performing Arts Center (students only). 11:00 -- Lunch break 2:00 p.m.– Public invited to annual tree-planting and dedication at Gainesville’s Homegrown Heroes Walking Trail. 6:30 p.m. – 8:30-- BBQ Dinner and Social at the NCTC Field House; tickets are $10/person and can be pre-purchased, and will be available at the door. Best opportunity to meet and speak with the Recipients. Tickets now available from Host City board members, at Lost Dog Video, 105A E. California St., and all First State Bank branches. Friday, April 8:

9:30 -- Student only session NCTC. 11:30 -12:30 -- Lunch break 1:00 -- Special students only program at Robert E. Lee Elementary 6:00 - 9:00 – Annual MOH Banquet. Saturday, April 9:


10:00-noon -- Annual parade and War Bird Fly Over. 12:00 - 1:00 -- lunch break 1:00 –3:00 – Autograph/book signing Gainesville Civic Center. Please observe the twoitem per-person rule to insure everyone can move through the lines quickly and easily. Sunday, April 10:

8 a.m. -- Recipients depart.
