As we approach the winter months and with Christmas just around the corner your diaries are no doubt getting booked up. With this in mind we wanted to make sure you were all up-to-date with what we have planned at Golden Sands over the winter period.
There really is so much going on, so this newsletter will be jam packed with everything you need to know, to get you ready for the winter season, along with the usual updates and reminders, so put your feet up, grab a cuppa and enjoy catching up and hearing all about what is going on at Golden Sands over the next few months. It’s going to be busy!
We are busy finalising our Winter works plans and we promise they you will be the first to know, as soon as all is confirmed. Watch this space!

Our top tips
We’ll let you into all of our little secrets on the all the best spots, from sunset hang outs to secluded coves – get all your inside knowledge here!
Our top tips are very close to home as we think we can offer you the very best Sunday roast, fish & chips and sunset, without having to open a car door!
Sunday roast
Join us for our Sunday Lunch menu in the Sandpiper Restaurant served from 12pm on a Sunday from £12.95 an adult and £6.45 a child. Enjoy a great choice of meats with all the trimmings and as you won't need to drive you could indulge in a naughty lunch time tipple too!
Fish & chips
Check out our very own chip shop on site – Catch 22. Remember as an owner you still get your owners' discount so you can enjoy great value too!
Beautiful sunsets
Catch the sunset nightly on our very own beach front, watch the tide come in while the glistening winter sun sets, there really is nowhere better to be!

Congratulations Kerry and Laurie! Kerry Clark (Guest Service Manager) and Laurie Clark (General Manager) have welcomed their new baby girl Enya Willow Clark. Born 15/10/22 weighing a healthy 7.2lb.
Welcome back Steve
Many of our owners will be familiar with our new Pool Manager, Steve Jarvis, who worked at the park some years ago. Steve is full of life and energy and is hoping to make some impressive changes to the fun pool.
Promotion for Leanne
Leanne Perkins has been promoted to Guest Services Team Leader. Leanne has only worked at Golden Sands for a short time, but within those months has made a huge impact within the Guest Services team.
Your Staff Member of the Year
Garry Fletcher, Park Safety Team Leader, was chosen by our owners as the Owners' Choice Staff Member of the Year. Garry has worked for Golden Sands for many years and has supported his team in making sure Golden Sands is safe and secure.
Between 1st - 31st October 2022 we'll be celebrating Halloween every day, so make sure you join us! We love Halloween, from dressing up as your favourite spooky character to carving scary (or funny!) faces into a plump, rump pumpkin. It's so much fun that we've decided to celebrate it throughout the entirety of October - 31 days of Halloween! Expect spooky decorations in our entertainment venues, themed activities and entertainment, Halloween parties, Play TOTS and Play LIVE, plus our Halloween themed character stage show with Bear, Scratch and Lucy - 'Scare in the Woods'!

Tattershall Lakes, Lincolnshire from 7th November - 31st December
Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Tattershall Lakes this festive season, with our brand-new Family Winterfest featuring live pantomime and a live Christmas Spectacular show from The Away Resorts Theatre Company. Enjoy all the delights of Winterfest in our beautifully decorated Spiegeltent themed around the late 19th Century Mirror Tents found in Belgium.

Park license closures
The Seabreeze area will be closed from 15th November 2022, and the Beachfields area will be closed from 15th January 2023. Remember to empty your fridges and freezers of food, as we will be testing and servicing the electric supplies, so your appliances will be switched off from time to time. Alarms will not be affected, as they will run by battery until the electricity is back on. CCTV will remain operational throughout.
Private Registration
Will still be applicable and payable up to 14/11/22 and won't be then chargeable until 10/02/23.
Soup & Salt Saturday
Join our Sales Team on any Saturday throughout November, from 05/11/22 for a Soup and Salt Saturday. Collect a salt box for the Winter and enjoy a bowl of soup on us.
Gritting reminder
We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and will be out with the gritters, as soon as the frost hits. We always try to keep the Park safe for our owners and guests by keeping the footpaths and roads gritted, but unfortunately for our furry friends, this can cause some problems for their paws. Please be mindful of this when out walking.
2023 sublet scheme
Please remember that you can now sign up for the 2023 sublet scheme. Owners already in the scheme will have received an early sign up form and the sublet guide will be following very soon, so please keep your eyes peeled!
