Welcome to your last Park Life Newsletter of 2022. What a year it has been. I would like to start by saying Hello, I am currently acting as General Manager for Tattershall Lakes, whilst Dean Poppy has stepped in to help the company in an Acting Operations Director role. There have been many new developments we have seen this year, which I hope you have all had the chance to enjoy.
I hope you are all looking forward to the winter season here at Tattershall Lakes as we welcome back our well-loved Winterfest! We have also resurrected the amazing Spiegeltent venue, where we will be hosting a series of matinee and evening performances of Christmas Spectacular shows and a Cinderella pantomime, make sure you grab a seat this year.
We'd love to welcome you to spend your New Year’s Eve here and make more lasting memories. Whether that's having a comfortable night in your holiday home, or spending it at one of our venues, we'd love to share bringing in the new year with you.
I would like to thank all of you that joined our successful sublet scheme in 2022. As of October, we have had an amazing 76 new sign ups! If you think you may want to join many of our happy owners currently benefiting from our sublet scheme, please pop in and speak to our team to see if this is the right thing for you.
As the weather becomes more inclement, we advise that you winterise your holiday homes. If you aren’t using your holiday home for a period over the winter months, it’s a good idea to drain down your holiday home. Without winterising your holiday home you may not protect your holiday home from frost damage, and therefore your insurance may not cover you so please take the appropriate steps to keep your holiday home protected.
We will be open throughout Christmas and New Year, please ensure that if you wish to extend your license from the 5th January, that you have followed the correct steps and had your application approved, before staying on park.
I would like to take this moment on behalf of all the team here at Tattershall Lakes, to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Between 1st - 31st October 2022 we'll be celebrating Halloween every day, so make sure you join us! We love Halloween, from dressing up as your favourite spooky character to carving scary (or funny!) faces into a plump, rump pumpkin. It's so much fun that we've decided to celebrate it throughout the entirety of October - 31 days of Halloween! Expect spooky decorations in our entertainment venues, themed activities and entertainment, Halloween parties, Play TOTS and Play LIVE, plus our Halloween themed character stage show with Bear, Scratch and Lucy - 'Scare in the Woods'!

Certifications
Please make sure that you are keeping up to date with all the correct Gas, Electric and Insurance certifications and documents that are required, to help us manage the safety of your holiday homes. You are required to carry out a yearly gas test and 3-yearly electrical test on your holiday home. Without these, it can impact your insurance policy. Please ensure tests are carried out by ourselves or park approved contractors and pop in a copy of your certificates to your owner services team to keep on file.
12 month License Extension
The park will close on 5th January 2023. If you do not wish to extend your license, we will then reopen on the 1st March 2023. You are not permitted to stay overnight on park within these dates if you have not extended your license or been approved for license extension. If you wish to extend your license, please ensure you fill in the extension request form and return, alongside a copy of your council tax bill and a utility bill in the names of all named owners and with the address we have on file for you that is dated within the last 3 months.
Your 2023 Owner Passes
Get ahead of the game and ensure that you apply for your 2023 owner passes. Your 2022 passes will run out March 1st 2023 and will not be accepted, so please ensure you have applied for your owner passes, attaching images and names, ready to collect from owner services. Please apply for your 2023 passes via your online owner's account, or by emailing owner.services@awayresorts.co.uk
You are entitled to 8 owner passes per season. Additional seasonal passes can be purchased for friends & family at £25 per child and £50 per adult.
Direct Debit
If you are planning to go onto our direct debit plan for your yearly pitch fee, please ensure you have completed the direct debit mandate form and returned this to park before the end of November. If you are wanting to go onto Direct Debit, please ensure that all balances are cleared from your account, leaving only you annual pitch fees. This amount will then be divided into 12 monthly payments, starting January 1st. If you were already on direct debit, this will continue automatically, so long as your account has no arrears. There is no need to resubmit a mandate form. If you wish to come off of direct debit, please contact your bank in order to do this.
Fishing
A fishing pass is required in order to fish on park. These can be purchased at the Owner Services desk. In order to purchase a fishing pass, you must hold a fishing license.

Seventh hot drink will be free once 6 stamps are obtained, cards must be redeemed by 31/12/22 and can not be rolled over to following year.
