Park Life Wow what a year 2021 has been! It was so great to see you all back on park and enjoying the season with us after a bumpy 2020.

This year, we were delighted to welcome several new owners to Barmouth Bay, and lots of our owners also took the opportunity to earn some extra income by allowing us to let out their holiday homes during the busiest season we have seen since we took the park over in 2013!
We are currently working on our owner events for 2022 so watch this space, it would be nice to see some new faces joining in with all the fun we have planned. Whilst on the subject of owner events, we were so sad we had to cancel the Christmas Carol Service this year due to Covid restrictions in Wales, but we are hopeful that 2022 will be business as usual.

What’s happening at
We have a busy winter ahead with ongoing underground electrical repairs, so please remember to empty your freezers as the power supply will be affected. We also have over £80,000 being spent in our swimming pool plant room for all the equipment to be updated in January. The pool therefore will close from 1pm on the 31st of December to ensure we are ready for 2022. The ongoing sea defence works will also be taking place, and this will commence in December and be ongoing through until April. If you are visiting the park during December, we would ask that gas orders are placed before 1pm for same day delivery. You can always call us on 01341 247350 if you are arriving later and we will check for your arrival. Whether you are coming to Barmouth for Christmas and New Year, or relaxing at home with friends and family, myself and the team here would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Meet our Owner Experience Support Manager; Jackie Let me introduce myself, I joined Away Resorts in March as Owner Experience Support Manager working within the Central Operations Team. With over 30 years’ experience within the industry, mostly as a General Manager on large owner parks I have a passion for delivering the best possible ownership experience for our Owners. I support all aspects of our Owner Experience across all parks following the handing over of your holiday home. Firstly, thank you for feeding back your thoughts through various channels this year and to those of you that have completed the surveys. These have been very insightful and guided me and the teams on the parks on what we need to do to improve the owner experience that we currently provide. As we move towards 2022, we are currently looking at how we continue to improve your owner experience.
Please note, all events are of course subject to change, and some are weather permitting, but we will always do our best to deliver!

Drain down, contact details & documents needed It’s so important to protect your lovely holiday home over winter, so if you haven’t already, please return your drain down forms to us asap! If you need a new form or any further information, just pop in or email/call Owner Services who will be happy to help. We need to ensure we stay up to date with your contact details so we can stay connected! Sometimes there could be important messages we need to get to you quickly, so please take a minute to pop in, or call us to check we have your details correct. You might have changed your mobile phone number, address or email address etc since we last updated our records for you.
