Hello from Jason Summer is Here?! What a very typical start to the summer we have experienced! Let’s hope we finally get a good run at some warm dry weather for the rest of the season, and the raincoats will no longer be needed! We hope you have found the Away Resorts integration as smooth as we have and have experienced limited disruption. The integration will bring the next era in development for Bude Holiday Resort, and we are excited for what the future holds. We were so pleased to be able to finally announce the start date for the final phase of the WIFI project, of 11th July. This will give all units the opportunity to have high speed WIFI, and for Owners, it’s free! We are also pleased that we have been able to make improvements to other areas of the Resort, notably the Northcott area roads, and the ongoing project that is streetlighting around the Resort. We are always here to help, so if you have any questions, or would like to know any more about what is going on around the Resort, please just ask one of the Team. Kind regards

An update from Carl Hi all, it’s been a while since my last message to you; I hope you are well. Just under 12 months ago, we embarked on the integration of Aria Resorts into Away Resorts. Our aim with this acquisition was to build on our current reputation as one of the industry’s leading operators, giving our guests, holiday homeowners and team members authentic, unique, and ethical experiences. The bulk of our integration work has been completed and we now have 24 locations with the Away Resorts' flag proudly flying. While you may have noticed some changes on park, I want to assure you that you’re in safe hands. We’re an ambitious business looking to grow but are equally committed to regularly investing in our current locations. Over the next three years, we are looking to deploy 50 million pounds worth of capital across the business annually; this investment will introduce new bars and restaurants, swimming pools, enhanced technical infrastructure, and improved park grounds and maintenance. As a community of Holiday Homeowners, you play a crucial part in the park’s success, and I thank you in advance for your continued support. Should you have any initial feedback or comments, remember our team members (who we lovingly refer to as Holiday Heroes) are always on hand to help. I am so pleased that you will be joining us on this continued journey, and I hope that you get some time to enjoy your wonderful holiday home over the summer season. Bulletin Perfect Pets We love welcoming your furry, four legged friends to park but please do make sure that they are always kept under control and on leads, as well as making sure you clear up any dog mess, so that all our guests can enjoy the park confidently and safely.

Board Keys Please!

Return to Sender We are still receiving a significant amount of post and parcels in Guest Services. We are unable to accept regular post for Owners at the park and any exceptions must be approved before being arranged or we will have no alternative but to use the hallowed words of the King of Rock and Roll and “Return to Sender”.

It has come to light that there is a significant amount of Owner owned holiday homes on park where we do not have access to emergency keys. All Owner keys are stored securely in a secure facility and enables us to act on your behalf in case of any emergency that should involve your prized home from home. You also never know when you might leave your keys on the kitchen table before visiting us! If you are unsure if you’ve dropped in a spare pair of keys, please contact: james.coltman@awayresorts.co.uk who will double check.

Park Holiday Heroes As part of our new life with Away Resorts, we are really proud to recognise our team members who go the extra mile to deliver delight to all our guests and excel in the service they give - our real Holiday Heroes! Goodbye to Paul It is with regret that we must announce that Paul Riley will be leaving us from managing the Coastal Bar & Eatery team. You may not know, but Paul is a very successful and highly respected DJ on the Northern Soul scene and has the wonderful opportunity to start doing this on a full time basis. He has decided to take the plunge and fulfil his dream of being a professional DJ and presenter. We wish Paul every success for the future, and please don't forget us when you are famous!

Bude Foodbank Bude Foodbank support around 1300 adults and children every year in Bude and the surrounding areas who are urgently in need of food. If you have any products left from your stay with us, please drop them into Guest Services. Our team make regular deliveries to the Bude Foodbank.

Crisp Packet Project The Crisp Packet Project is run entirely by volunteers who take (flat only) crisp packets, and transform them into blankets. These are then distributed through a variety of networks to homeless people living on the streets of UK towns and cities. Recently, they have also been providing blankets to refugees fleeing Ukraine. To donate your crisp packets (when you’re done with them of course), please drop off at the designated bins in Guest Services and The Coastal Bar and Eatery.

Sea Pool

Bude Sea Pool is a semi-natural amenity that has provided a haven for free and safe bathing and other water-based activities since the 1930s. Access to Bude Sea Pool is unrestricted and free of any admission charges. If you haven’t already been, it’s not to be missed! We are proud to sponsor this local attraction.
