Hello from Andrew Firstly, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, I am your new General Manager at Moffat Manor and I have grown up on holiday parks from a young age as part of an owner family, to then joining the industry back in 2010. Holiday parks are my passion and I've been fortunate enough to work on several over the years before joining Away Resorts in 2019 within the central support function. Becoming a General Manager was always my dream and what two better locations could I have asked for to step into that role than Moffat and Glendevon. Both locations are absolutely stunning, and I am so excited to get my teeth stuck right into the challenge and after living away from Scotland for the last few years, I am delighted to be back home, to not so sunny Scotland! Whilst I understand we don't always necessarily like change, I can promise that I won't be making changes for changes sake, however if there is anything that you would like to discuss or have any real concerns that you want to raise, feel free to drop me a line – but please don't write all at once! Our new Food and Beverage Manager is introducing some welcome changes to the Lakes Tavern. Coming up in the next few weeks are some themed nights so be prepared to dig out some of your best outfits. We are also looking at a possible Café style menu coming out very soon. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the coming months and if you are ever passing, please pop into the Holiday Home Sales office and we can grab a coffee. andrew.ewing@awayresorts.co.uk

A shout out to your

holiday heroes

Farewell & Welcome Kevan, our Food & Beverage Supervisor, has decided to move on to new challenges and we wish him the best of luck for the future. Damien Whitelaw, has accepted to take on the Food & Beverage Manager role and has already started to make some huge changes into the Lakes Tavern - I am sure there will be more to come, watch this space!

Inta, our Housekeeping Supervisor is also leaving us for new adventures and after 7 years of working at Moffat Manor we wish her all the best for the future. We are pleased to say that Sam Crichton has accepted the role of Acting Accommodation Manager where we will be putting some real focus into enhancing our standards within the subletting package that we now offer. Please feel free to pop into the office and speak to Sam about subletting.

Perfect Pets We love welcoming your furry fourlegged friends to park and whilst there are some lovely walks to explore, please be mindful to keep your pets on a lead whilst on the park and pick up any mess created along the way. We want to ensure everyone can enjoy our stunning park confidently and safely.

Fish Frenzy We kindly ask all owners to abide by the rule of ‘catch and return’, unlike the cormorants, whom are treating the lake like a convenient takeaway! We are planning to form an Owners’ fishing club and appoint a couple of owners to the role of “Bailiffs on the Lake”. If the club or prestigious Bailiff position is of interest to you, please call in to Guest Services and let us know.

Third Place Social Please join our new Facebook Owners’ group. This Facebook group is available to you to join now and will feature all the latest news and updates, making sure our owners hear it first. You’ll also be able to enjoy offers and competitions as well as a bit of a natter with t he neighbours.

An update from Carl Hi all, it’s been a while since my last message to you; I hope you are well. Just under 12 months ago, we embarked on the integration of Aria Resorts into Away Resorts. Our aim with this acquisition was to build on our current reputation as one of the industry’s leading operators, giving our guests, holiday homeowners and team members authentic, unique, and ethical experiences. The bulk of our integration work has been completed and we now have 24 locations with the Away Resorts' flag proudly flying. While you may have noticed some changes on park, I want to assure you that you’re in safe hands. We’re an ambitious business looking to grow but are equally committed to regularly investing in our current locations. Over the next three years, we are looking to deploy 50 million pounds worth of capital across the business annually; this investment will introduce new bars and restaurants, swimming pools, enhanced technical infrastructure, and improved park grounds and maintenance.
