What’s happening at

Hello from Graeme What a year it’s been so far! We have been lucky enough to welcome new owners and guests to St Helens as well as lots of our existing and returning customers – it’s been a very busy but absolutely lovely first half of the year. It is exciting that we have now fully integrated with Away Resorts and are using all of the Away Resorts systems. Some of our new signage is in place and the team are wearing their lovely new uniforms proudly! There are some great new owner benefits to enjoy as well, including, but not limited to, another park on the Island where you are able to make use of the facilities and Third Place Social - a place where you can get to know more about Away Resorts, the park and your fellow owners! We recently held our very first successful "event" at St Helens for the Queen’s Jubilee which was a Pool Party and Jubilee Quiz - this was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. We are looking to run a few more events through the summer - these will be low key and in keeping with the environment of the park but still enjoyable for our guests and owners. A shout out to your

holiday heroes

Introducing Nikki Wood, Nikki is our Guest Services Assistant and has been with us for over a year and does a fantastic job welcoming everyone to the park. Nikki is super helpful, so please feel free to pop along and chat to her if you need any advice on the Island or just to say hi! Helen Burns, Helen our Accommodation Team Leader started with us when we reopened the park in 2019 and has been a superstar ever since. She cares deeply about our accommodation and the team and very often bends over backwards to help anybody and ensures our units are kept spotless. She has also adopted a role within the team as our Mental Health support and is always available for any of the team who need help or would like to chat. Terry Black, Terry is our Park Services Manager and is a stalwart of St Helens Coastal Resort having been at the park before it was redeveloped and reopened. If there is something to know about St Helens, Terry will know it! Terry's role is to look after the Maintenance, Grounds and Swimming pool and many of our owners have been helped out by Terry with snagging of holiday homes or for General Maintenance.

WiFi We have had several queries in relation to WIFI connectivity on Resort. As it stands currently this is not scheduled to be installed during 2022. Our IT Director is currently sourcing options to install high speed connectivity to all our resorts across the Away Resorts estate. As I'm sure that you can appreciate, this will become a significant programme of infrastructure works running into several million pounds worth of investment that will take time to implement successfully. Once we have more information on this, we will share this with all owners. We are however offering Owners with no, or poor WIFI connections, a 4G dongle. This is a short-term solution until we can share further updates later this year.

An update from Carl Hi all, it’s been a while since my last message to you; I hope you are well. Just under 12 months ago, we embarked on the integration of Aria Resorts into Away Resorts. Our aim with this acquisition was to build on our current reputation as one of the industry’s leading operators, giving our guests, holiday homeowners and team members authentic, unique, and ethical experiences. The bulk of our integration work has been completed and we now have 24 locations with the Away Resorts' flag proudly flying. While you may have noticed some changes on park, I want to assure you that you’re in safe hands. We’re an ambitious business looking to grow but are equally committed to regularly investing in our current locations. Over the next three years, we are looking to deploy 50 million pounds worth of capital across the business annually; this investment will introduce new bars and restaurants, swimming pools, enhanced technical infrastructure, and improved park grounds and maintenance.
