Hello from Dean Poppy Welcome to the Summer edition of the Park Life newsletter. I'm sure many of you are excited to hear all our latest news, as we have been very busy here at Tattershall Lakes. Since our last newsletter, there have been some great celebrations on park with the Queen's Jubilee. We were in full swing for the festivities, with owner exclusive offerings, which I hope you all enjoyed. We hope you were able to get involved and made some long lasting memories to add to those previously enjoyed here at Tattershall Lakes. There have been a few new developments on the park over the last few months. You can now enjoy some great tasty treats from Catch 22, our new fish & chips take away service, situated next to the refurbished laundrette: Soap & Bubbles. We have also added additional outdoor covered seating alongside a new and improved multisport court. The new Zip Wire activity is now complete and running, I hope many of you enjoyed the owner exclusive sessions we held to try this new activity out. Please look out for further owner exclusive slots throughout the year. On Friday 17th June, we saw the opening of the Tattershall Park Country Pub under Away Resorts management! We would like to offer the team of the pub a very warm welcome and we hope to see our owners and guests enjoying this additional facility. We have a new Water Sports Centre that opened ready for the school summer holidays, keep an eye open for new activities. I would like to thank our owners that have booked in their gas and electricity safety tests, ensuring their certificates are up to date. Our reception and maintenance team are working hard, as usual, completing them in a timely manner. Please make sure that you are keeping up to date with all the correct gas, electric and insurance certifications and documents that are required, to help us manage the safety of your holiday homes. Owner Services will require a copy of your certificates. Coming up over the Summer we have our annual whole park events, alongside our owner exclusive ones, so don't forget to take a peek at the events calendar. An update from Carl Hi all, it’s been a while since my last message to you; I hope you are well. Just under 12 months ago, we embarked on the integration of Aria Resorts into Away Resorts. Our aim with this acquisition was to build on our current reputation as one of the industry’s leading operators, giving our guests, holiday homeowners and team members authentic, unique, and ethical experiences. The bulk of our integration work has been completed and we now have 24 locations with the Away Resorts' flag proudly flying. While you may have noticed some changes on park, I want to assure you that you’re in safe hands. We’re an ambitious business looking to grow but are equally committed to regularly investing in our current locations. Over the next three years, we are looking to deploy 50 million pounds worth of capital across the business annually; this investment will introduce new bars and restaurants, swimming pools, enhanced technical infrastructure, and improved park grounds and maintenance. As a community of Holiday Homeowners, you play a crucial part in the park’s success, and I thank you in advance for your continued support. Should you have any initial feedback or comments, remember our team members (who we lovingly refer to as Holiday Heroes) are always on hand to help. I am so pleased that you will be joining us on this continued journey, and I hope that you get some time to enjoy your wonderful holiday home over the summer season. The Team that Keeps us Safe and Sound Sean Bass has been promoted to Operations, Compliance & Safety Manager. Sean is the main man when it comes to Health and Safety on the park along with security throughout the complex and is assisted by Paige Hall.
Your Owner Experience Team The Owner Experience team has expanded to enable us to deliver even more delight. Firstly, we are very proud to announce Lewis Dean has been promoted to Owner Experience Manager, with Lewis' wealth of the leisure industry knowledge and dedication to the business we are excited to see Lewis' progress within the company. We are pleased to welcome Nikki Chantry, our new Owner Experience Assistant Manager, to support Lewis and Georgie. Nikki has enjoyed meeting many of the owners already and is looking forward to attending the owners’ events to get to know everybody. If you have anything you need any help with, please do pop into Owner Services for a chat.
Welcoming David back to the Sales Team David Whalley has recently joined the Holiday Home Sales Team here at Tattershall Lakes, David has many years of experience within the Away Resorts Company having previously worked here, Appletree and supported Sandy Balls Resort. We look forward to working with David and we hope he enjoys his position with the busy crew in sales.
The Sublet Crew! Katie Frost has started with us as Sublet Co-ordinator. If sub-letting is something that interests you, please don't hesitate to have a chat with us at Guest Services where we can explain the awesome ways your holiday home can help pay your pitch fees for the year. Our sublet team has grown to five staff members due to the growth of this department.

All Things After Sales Jordan MacDonald has returned to us as Stock Controller with After Sales, Jordan was previously Jobs Controller at Haven Golden Sands in Mablethorpe before returning to Tattershall Lakes. His new role will be a great support to Lynda & Ayley in After Sales. Please meet the aftersales team out on park, who you will see helping with any maintenance required on your holiday homes; Przemek Zbojna, Scott Stokes, William Rawlings, Daniel Dodsworth, Michael Copes and Lawence King. Also joining us on the Owner Team is Lindsey Wright, Lindsey is one of our front desk heroes, the first smiling face you see when you arrive at Owner Services. Our Owner Services Front Desk Team consists of Cheryl, Lisa and now Lindsey.
Our Holiday Super Heroes Following an accident outside the park, two of our team members, Duane Sweet & Przemek Zbojna helped at the scene administering first aid to the injured person, keeping everyone calm and ensuring the emergency services had a clear route. Well done lads Total Holiday Heroes!!

There’s some exciting news for our events at Tattershall Lakes in 2023 and we wanted you to be the first to hear it! We are aware that on many of our big event dates, lots of owners don’t get to attend due to their popularity and us only having a certain amount of capacity or space in our venues. These events largely only happen on one weekend of the year, and we know this has led to some disappointment for many. As well as this, we don’t feel as a business we’re able to give you the best service. Our bars & restaurants become busy; and as such your wait times for food and drinks have been impacted.

For 2023, we are going to be launching our family together summer festival called ‘Famaland’. This will run for 10 weeks from 1st July to the end of the school summer holidays on the 3rd September. Each week there will be a full programme of events that will incorporate a mini version of Rock the Lakes, Colour Festival, Custard Pie Fight, Big Stars and Dino World. All our most popular events together each week. Every day from Monday – Sunday you can enjoy something different. From dinosaurs to family comedy, outdoor cinema, custard pie fights, pantomime, DJs, and party nights. You won’t be disappointed! The kids can also expect character breakfasts, PLAY Tots, PLAY Live, Teddy Club, Bear in the Woods, and story time adventures. This will all run across our 3 venues: The Amphitheatre (outside the Spitfire Complex), The Festival Green, and The Musical Meadow (Big Top); and you can expect quality time together as a family or with friends, be entertained, and try new things. We hope this will mean that everyone will get an opportunity to enjoy some of the things we do best whilst on park – enjoying as much or as little as you like.

Sleep easy Not everyone wants to party all night long at Tattershall Lakes and listening to your feedback we have been monitoring both The Big Top and The Amphitheatre with the decibel reader to ensure our guests and owners can get a good night’s sleep.
Please pick it up We get it, when you've got to go, you've got to go! But when walking your furry friends please think of others on the park and no matter where it may be, please clean up after your pet and dispose of it responsibly.
Pitch perfect For those of you wanting to make your holiday home just a little bit more special please remember prior to doing any improvements that you view your Pitch Licence Agreement and inform the Aftersales team. If you're wanting to make any improvements to your holiday home you must firstly complete a Pitch Improvement Form and return it to the office to be approved. Any work must be completed by our team or one of our approved contractors.
Keeping us regulation ready We have a park audit every month, as well as our daily Health & Safety checks, to ensure that our park is lawful and compliant. We have noticed on a few occasions that some pitches have more than two gas bottles and that gas bottles are chained or tied together. Please can you make sure that you are compliant to our policies as they are there for your own safety and the safety of others. Please can we also ask that only two vehicles are parked at each holiday home, more than two may prevent both the emergency services and our own staff getting access to areas across the park
Road upgrade There have been a few roadways on park that haven't been up to scratch lately, you will notice we have been steadily working on improving these, along with white lining areas too.
Road Safety Hot tub heaven For those of you who enjoy the luxury of a bubbling hot tub at your holiday home please make sure it is ship shape and safe to use. The Health & Safety Executive Guidance (HSG282) 'The control of Legionella and other infectious agents in spapool systems' explains how to manage and control the risks from legionella and other infectious agents. We expect you to maintain your Hot Tubs in a safe condition to ensure the safety of your family, your guests and others using the park. Please can we ask owners, who privately service their hot tub, that you make certain that you complete a Microbiological Test every month and send your results to Owner Services.
Many of you will be aware of a recent incident on park involving dangerous driving of a privately owned buggy. For those of you who choose to navigate the park using a buggy, please be advised that our roads are classed as public highways and as such all due care and attention should be paid when driving any vehicle including buggies. Please note that all buggies need to be insured and should not be hired out to third parties. With Summer upon us there are lots of little ones darting about and families enjoying a leisurely pace so please observe the speed limit and all stipulations of the Highway Code to ensure we all stay safe and happy. Please also ensure that both cars and buggies are parked neatly in your designated parking space to avoid blocking any traffic.
