Welcome to our peak owners newsletter, where you’ll find all the latest park and team news, owner updates, and competitions.
Your electric invoices will be billed in November as usual, also, just a gentle reminder that in line with the latest government guidance for Wales, you will still be required to wear your face masks as mandatory in all indoor venues. Also, if you get a positive test for COVID-19 you should not travel to park, you are still required to isolate. The team and I want to thank all our owners for their support throughout the pandemic whilst we have adapted to keep everyone on park safe.
We are excited to have our Entertainment team back at Barmouth Bay so we can all enjoy the weather with great live outdoor music and entertainment. We have slushies and refreshments to enjoy at the outside bar at Scoobies to keep you all cool through out the summer.
2021’s holidays bookings are still very strong, so if you would like to take advantage of our hassle-free sublet scheme, please pop in or send us your letting dates as soon as possible to Kerry. Exciting news for our Away Resorts family, we have a new park. Beachcomber Holiday Park We are thrilled to announce our new park acquisition of Beachcomber Holiday Park in Cleethorpes Lincolnshire, officially becoming part of the Away Resorts family joining our 8 other UK parks. Here at Away Resorts we’re famous for creating unforgettable holiday memories and time away with those ‘discover different’ moments. Beachcomber Holiday Park is a great choice for us, fit for all the family and set beside the sea in the popular coastal resort of Cleethorpes. Beachcomber has superb entertainment facilities, as well as a popular outdoor heated swimming pool, restaurant and bar with outdoor seating, children’s play areas, sportscourt and tennis court, plus there is a shop & launderette. We loved this park because it’s situated with so much to see and do with loads of attractions nearby such as; Cleethorpes beach, Pleasure Island theme park, Cleethorpes boating lake, The Jungle Zoo, Rushmoor Farm Park & Falconry centre, and Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, where you can take a ride along the East of England’s last surviving steam light railway. We’re very dog friendly, so you can expect the same from Beachcomber and enjoy strolls along the beach with your four-legged friends. Hi, I am Kerry, Accommodation and Guest Services Manager! I started my role here at Barmouth Bay on the 1st of May 2015, and I love assisting with all our wonderful holiday makers arriving with us and supporting my team to provide the best accommodation we can. I love seeing our owners back on park and missed you all whilst you were not here. I enjoy helping owners get settled into their new holidays homes as well as supporting our owners who sublet with us. No day is ever the same in my role and the team are like my second family. In my spare time I love plane spotting (red arrows), and I love to go fishing! I enjoy photography, exploring my local areas history, and exploring my favourite Greek island Skiathos. I always look forward to Colour Fest and Music Weekender here, I love the enthusiasm from the team and the laughter from all the owners and guests our events provide. I’ve always got the kettle on hand if there are any aftersales or sublet enquires. Or even simply just to say hello, catch up, or talk about new places to visit in the area. Hope to see you soon!
