Welcome to our very first Beachcomber owners quarterly newsletter, the first of many to come, where you’ll find all the latest park and team news, owner updates, events, competitions and the best local places to visit as voted by you.
I hope you have had a chance to visit your holiday home and enjoy a well-deserved break here with us. I am pleased to say our Owner Events so far have been a success, so if you haven’t booked one already, please do come along to one, it’s a great chance to meet the neighbours and also the team too. Details for all events throughout the season are over on the next two pages, along with a team ‘Who’s who’ over on page 4, which we hope you’ll find helpful. What’s happening at
Now COVID-19 restrictions are eased, we still all have a responsibility to look after ourselves and stay safe from the virus. We hope the lifted restrictions will make your stays the best they can be. Please remember, if you get a positive test for COVID-19 you should not travel here, you are still required to isolate 2021’s holidays bookings are still very strong, so if you would like to take advantage of our hassle-free sublet scheme, please send us in your letting dates as soon as possible for the attention of Leila Edwards Guest Services Manager. This is a great way to earn some extra income towards your holiday home outgoings. Lastly, just a gentle reminder that your electric invoices that were previously billed in June, will be billed in November . These will cover the period from June 2020 to November 2021. If you have any questions, please contact one of the team in Guest Services. Peak is going well and is busy, I hope you and your families will be able to join us.

Owners Pool Party Sunday 15th August, 5pm till 8pm Join us for an evening of fun in the water with a burger and drinks! To book please pop into Reception, or call 01472 812666 Spaces will be released two weeks before each event and are limited, so please book in advance to avoid any disappointment. You can book up to 6 people per holiday home. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Hi everyone! A lot of you know me now and know I take real pride ensuring that a high level of service and standards are achieved for every single owner and guest on park. I have been with Away Resorts for 5 wonderful years and have worked at Tattershall Lakes, Sandy Balls, Mersea Island and I started here at the end of April this year. Please always do come and say hello, and if you ever have any questions, suggestions, or feedback I’ll be happy to listen and have a cuppa with you. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs Bell, Tito and Ruby and the four of us simply love the lovely beach that this fantastic location has to offer.

Hi, I am Leila, and I’ve worked here for 10 years! My first 6 years here I worked in the Sales Office, and now I am the Guest Services Manager. Those of you who know me know I’m a huge dog lover so please bring your four-legged pooches in to say hello! I have two of my own called Chewie and Obi and will be adding to my little pack in October when myself and partner Danny welcome a little baby boy to our family. Although this means I will be leaving soon on maternity leave, I will be returning next year and looking forward to seeing you all again, and new owners, and how the park has come along in that time.
From my time at Beachcomber so far, I believe the feeling of community is what makes it so special. There is a wonderful mix of new and old faces amongst the team, creating a friendly and welcoming environment that is lovely to be a part of. I have met many of you and I can’t wait to meet you all! Hi, I’m Mollie and I am the Holiday Home Sales Administrator here at Beachcomber Holiday Park. I enjoy spending my days off paddle boarding in Cleethorpes, and alike Rosie and Leila, I love walking my dogs Lexi and Lola and spending time with family and friends.
Hello, my name is Matt, and I am the Events Coordinator for Beachcomber Cleethorpes. I have been within the holiday sector for 9 years with a wealth of experience working in customer service and events planning and coordinating. I joined Away Resorts in May and I am very excited to get started and bring events back for 2021! I am in charge of the big park events and am organising our owners events which you’ll see all details about inside this newsletter. I have two girls Emelia & Emily, I live in Humberston and enjoy swimming.
