Hello, first of all I’d like to introduce myself, I am your new General Manager at Whitecliff Bay. I am extremely excited to start my first season here at the park and am looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know your faces over the coming months. My passion for holiday parks runs from a very early age. I was raised in and around the industry, my grandmother ran a small caravan letting business in the 70s and 80s, and my uncle worked as a GM for Bourne Leisure running Rockley Park back in the day when they were called British Holidays so I know the ins and outs of what goes on. I have arrived from Hoburne in Christchurch and hope to make a real difference to the park. I also love to cook so if you have any delicious home-made recipes I’d love to hear about them. Please do pop in and say Hi when you are around. Cheers to a fantastic 2017 season.

Contact details Once again, as we do every year, can we please remind our owners to pop into Guest Services when you are next on park to check your contact details with us. It might be that you have moved address, changed your telephone number or e-mail address over the winter and we need to know. Sometimes we need to get messages or updates out to you quickly either by a text message or e-mail so it is important we have the right details so you don’t miss out on relevant park information.

No job too small.....sounds like an advert, however it’s true! If you would like us to quote on any maintenance issues or one of those “I’ll do that job later” scenarios, we’ll be only too pleased to help. Pop into Guest Services to find out more.
Any Owner that requires contractors to visit them on Park will need to be authorised by Richard Bicknell. Please call Guests Services to obtain the necessary paperwork and to find out more.
Owners passes We are now ready to issue you with the new 2017 Owners passes that you will need to use the facilities. Please fill in the attached form and enclose two passport size photos for each person, this will give us everything we need to get your new passes ready for you to collect from Guest Services. Typically, from the point we receive your form with the pictures, the passes will be ready to collect within 7 days. All team members at Whitecliff Bay have been told ‘no pass, no entry’, we operate this system to stop people not staying at Tattershall Lakes being able to use the facilities. This gives more room to yourselves and holiday guests. As some of our team members will be new they won’t know everyone’s faces so please help by carrying your passes at all times.
Life made easy Don't forget you can find out about owners events and pay your bills online on your owners account. You should have had the login details for this, if not please pop into Guest Services and ask.

INTRODUCING THE TRIBECA
Let us show you how our Managed Letting Service enables many Owners to earn income to contribute towards their running costs. Can this holiday caper get any better?
Many of our Holiday Home Owners let their holiday homes when they are not using them. It provides Holiday Home Owners with extra income that can help cover running costs. Obviously, the amount you can earn will depend on how often your home is available to let, but this is entirely at your discretion. Whatever suits you can be accommodated. Our managed letting service is dead easy to use and only requires a couple of forms to get started.
Rest assured that our discounting decisions are made with very careful consideration of your best interests. After all, it is in yours and our interests that the park be a popular destination choice. When it comes to holiday letting, your success is our success. Something to keep in mind is that most people enjoy holidays over bank holiday weekends, during school holidays and throughout July and August. If you can use your holiday home at other times and keep these peak periods free for letting, we increase our chances of your success.

So how much can you earn? Well we can’t give you a definite figure but we can promise that we can try to get the highest letting income possible. As you know, everyone loves a bargain and the competition for holiday dollars is fierce so there are times when we have to run promotional discounts via advertising and direct mail campaigns.
The best part of the service is that we manage all bookings. Nothing for you to worry about. At the end of the year, we add up your bookings and subtract a commission of 19% + VAT to cover marketing and administration. You receive the rest. All holiday homes must have up to date health and safety certificates.
Managed Letting
Away Resorts have spent the past two years developing the concept for the TriBeCa, and in 2016 teamed up with and ABI designer Laura Collins to create a solution for the modern family: a groundbreaking New York loft, ‘boutique-style’ caravan. The concept development used opinion polls, focus groups and a wide range of research. The Tribeca is quite unlike any other caravan on the market, past or present and will be available at Whitecliff Bay from Easter 2017 to buy. Please pop in to Guest Services if you’d like to arrange an appointment to view it. It’s the ultimate luxury home from home.

All events are held in The Culver Club unless otherwise stated. Sometimes if the weather is particularly nice we might just take things outside but we will let you know if we do. There are a number of other events taking place throughout the year which we will let you know about nearer the time. Make sure to pop into Guest Services to see if there is anything on that tickles your fancy.
