I hope this letter finds you well, and you are having a lovely summer. I must say, we have been very fortunate with the weather here at the Lakes Rookley so far!
The island really shines this time of year. Besides the activities on the park, there is a lot happening off-park too, including the Garlic Festival. If you haven't been before, it's certainly worth a visit. This year, it will be taking place on the 19th and 20th of August at The Fighting Cocks Crossroads, just outside of Newchurch. Attended by families young and old, the Island's Biggest Summer show plays host to star chefs, musicians, local charities, businesses, and more from far and wide. With live music, a dog show, children's activities, and lots of garlic, the show is not to be missed! Away Resorts will have a stand there, so do pop by and say hello!
We wanted to give you a heads up that we're making a change regarding our newsletters. Instead of sending them out quarterly, we'll be staying connected through Third Place Social. This way, we can keep you in the loop more efficiently and frequently, ensuring you always have the latest and greatest information. We're excited about this update and can't wait to connect with you on a more regular basis!
