Welcome to our peak owners newsletter, where you’ll find all the latest park and team news, owner updates, events, competitions and the best local places to visit as voted by you.
Recently we have made some further improvements to the park, with our new Bike Hub and Toddler Play Area. And we have received some great feedback about our new developments too – Bullrush Close, Woodland Retreat and The Pastures, if you haven’t already, please feel free to walk through the new areas and take a look. We wanted to put a focus on wellbeing, so we have new spinning bikes. I hope you’ll get a chance to book on to a spin session and get to use these. More details coming soon, keep an eye on Third Place Social or speak to Damian to find out more. I am pleased to say our Owner Events so far have been a success, so if you haven’t booked one already, please do come along to one, it’s a great chance to meet the neighbours and even meet your Owner Experience team too. Details for all events throughout the season are inside this newsletter, alongside a Spotlight on Georgie, our new Owner Communications and Events Coordinator. We had a good response to our Owner Survey which we sent out to all owners via email and uploaded to Third Place Social.

I want to thank all owners who took part in the survey, the aim for this survey was to ensure we are making your owner experience the best we can and to improve our owner service. If you would like to discuss anything related to your ownership journey, then please contact or come and see Damian your Owner Experience Manager. Damian will be more than happy to have a coffee and a chat with you, so you can ask us any questions, and let us know about your ownership experience so far. Now COVID-19 restrictions are eased, and we have entered step 4 of the governments unlocking roadmap, we still all have a responsibility to look after ourselves and stay safe from the virus. We hope the lifted restrictions will make your stays the best they can be, as a park and business we had to adapt hugely, thank you for supporting us in doing so. Please remember, if you get a positive test for COVID-19 you should not travel here, you are still required to isolate. 2021’s holidays bookings are still very strong, so if you would like to take advantage of our hassle-free sublet scheme, please send us in your letting dates as soon as possible. This is a great way to offset some of your holiday home running costs. Lastly, just a gentle reminder that gas and electric invoices will be sent in November as usual. These will be for the full year as they were not read in April. If you have any questions please contact one of the team in Owner Services. Exciting news for our Away Resorts family, we have a new park. Beachcomber Holiday Park We are thrilled to announce our new park acquisition of Beachcomber Holiday Park in Cleethorpes Lincolnshire, officially becoming part of the Away Resorts family joining our 8 other UK parks. Spotlight on Georgie Hello everyone! Hi! I’m Georgie and I’m the new Owner Events and Communications Coordinator at Tattershall Lakes. My primary duties will be organising events and keeping up good communication with all our lovely owners. I grew up in Tattershall and stayed throughout my high school years before I moved to Sheffield for 4 years studying my bachelor and master’s degree within Events Management and Marketing. During my years studying I worked on many events from festivals, concerts, fashion shows, charity & business events, to getting the opportunity to work in the event and marketing department at a large hotel in America where I worked on organising varied special events.
I love being a part of events and giving people amazing experiences, and I’m excited for my new adventure here at Tattershall Lakes. I’m particularly excited about our pool parties that are coming up throughout the year, getting to see the Lakeside Lido used for event purposes and also getting the chance to meet more of our owners. I’d love to hear any events or ideas you would like to see and to have a chat with you all. New Toddler Play Park We had received feedback that owners and guests would like a more toddler-friendly play park at Tattershall Lakes, so we have added one near the Lido. So far this has been a big succuss with parents and toddlers enjoying the slide, swings, climbing frame and boat.
Owners Dedicated Team We wanted to give owners a great team dedicated to your ownership experience, so we are delighted to have done that with Damian your Owner Experience Manager, Georgie your Owner Event and Communications Coordinator. Owner Survey As a result from our owners survey we sent out in May via email and on Third Place Social to all of our owners, James Adkins our Guest Experience Manager, Damian Price our Owner Experience Manager, and Georgie Harkus our Owner Events and Communication Coordinator met with the other parks teams at nearby Boston West Country Park to run through the survey feedback, and have a meeting to discuss ways to enhance the ownership experience across all parks including collating ideas on future owner events. The two-day meeting was very productive, and we have many ideas we have come away with that the team here at Tattershall Lakes will be implementing & demonstrating over the coming season which is really exciting.
Family Owner Events Times We had some feedback earlier on in the season that our family events started too late at 8pm, so we have moved our family events to starting from 6pm. We do hope this will ensure more of our owners and their families can come along and enjoy them.
We have also contacted owners who fed back any concerns from our survey, to have a chat to see if there is anything further we can do to improve on their experience. So far, we have had some very positive catch ups with you and we are keen for more owners to get in touch with any further feedback or ideas. You can email us on ownerfeedback@awayresorts.co.uk

The Away Resorts App is available to download from Google Play and the App Store. All you will need is your username and your password to login, this will be the same username and password you use for your online owners account. Please note the app is dedicated just for owners and therefore requires you to activate your account online before being granted with full access. Please note: this year private guests will need to have their passes bought directly by the owner they are privately subletting from, not at Guest Services on arrival, and not by calling the Away Resorts Contact Centre, they cannot organise any passes. Owners are now able to purchase these passes online via their owner account. Details of how to access your owner account are on page 10. Passes will be given in the format of a digital QR code that will be scanned on the entrance of the Merlin Centre, and it will give access for the dates of the holiday only and only for the chosen number of guests.
