Park life General Manager It’s been a summer to remember here at Tattershall Lakes with many, many
days of hot, hot sunshine. The glorious sunshine was very welcome and meant our big events, Big Stars and Foodstock, Rock the Lakes, Colour Festival and The Big Weekend were an enormous success – more than we could ever have dreamed of. And of course, I am sure you have noticed that the park has been remarkably busy with our new development Itchycoo Park, full of holidaymakers enjoying themselves in our Rockstars. And hopefully you heard – or were part of – our evenings with Covent Garden’s Royal

What’s happening at
Opera House. Away Resorts partnered with the iconic Royal Opera House to show live outdoor opera and ballet broadcasts this summer at four of Away Resorts’ six parks. And we were lucky enough to be one of the parks to screen performances of Swan Lake back in June and Don Giovanni in July. They were certainly nights to remember. So with the busy summer period firmly behind us, we are looking forward to a more gentle pace during autumn before the exciting new winter developments, more on that

10 the use of golf buggies and the users are not always adults. Children are not permitted to drive golf buggies - there would be no way they could prove they were competent to do so, were there be an accident.

On park Vintage & Retro Festival
Friday 28th – Sunday 30th September We are going to transport you from the ‘40s, ‘50s and 60’s whilst landing in the ‘80s to drop you off in a time where music ruled but clothes were a fashion faux pas. However, we promise it will not stop you dancing and burning up the dancefloor! Don’t forget to dig out those retro and vintage outfits too, as we’ve got prizes available for the best dressed.
Halloween Weekend Friday 26th – Sunday 28th October Halloween at Tattershall Lakes will be more actioned packed than ever! With our spook-tacular schedule of Halloween themed activities and entertainment, it’s time to create some fang-tastic memories!

New Year’s Party Monday 31st December Join us for the party of the year! We’ll be welcoming you with nibbles and serving up seasonal drinks aplenty, accompanied by some of the world’s greatest music. Just the thing to put you in the mood for partying the night away. This is a separate ticketed event and numbers are limited, please keep an eye out for further information.
Sunday 23rd September Owners Breakfast (9am – 10:30am) They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we agree. Pop along for some fuel to start your day in the right way and enjoy a natter with other owners. You’ll also have the chance to chat to our team too!
Saturday 24th November End of Season Party (7pm – 10pm) Finish off the 2018 season in proper style, with a party that the whole family will love. We’ll have nibbles, drinks, music and even the prospect of a good boogie waiting for you – so get ready to let your hair down for the last time this year.

Hot Tubs If you have a hot tub, we want you and your family and friends to use and enjoy it safely. It is important to be aware of the potential risks that can arise. Hot tubs are a recognised source of diseases and there have been a number of recorded outbreaks of Legionnaires’ which have included fatalities linked to poorly designed and/or managed hot tubs. Legionnaires’ is usually caught by breathing in small droplets of contaminated water. This means that other park guests may be exposed to it even if they are not using your hot tub. We expect you to maintain your hot tubs to ensure the safety of all. The Health & Safety Executive guidance document is available to be downloaded for free from hse. gov.uk/legionnaires/ spa-pools We also advise you to follow any other recommendations from the hot tub manufacturer and/or supplier. Please note that if you are subletting your Holiday Home, you will be deemed to be undertaking a commercial operation and your legal responsibilities with regards to the management of hot tubs will be more stringent.
